Another Great Video, Warren. Looks like you have some more engine work on the books. I’m amazed how much you get done, hopefully you get paid well. Thanks for dragging us along on your adventures. I sure do appreciate your Videos.
Keep up the good work Warren. Love being along for the ride and learning some things when your working. Makes me appreciate our 30 series we are still running. Got some R series as well, build quality seems to be disappearing.
Hey Warren, sounds like the old service truck is running pretty good still! Duke sure likes it, haha. Thanks much for putting out the late Saturday night video. Your sure busy still. Have a great weekend.
A brilliant video Warren ..I bet you like the best bit putting it all back together and firing it up ..sounds brilliant. .. You do come across some very interesting problems to solve.. Looks like you could have a run of problems with those tractors . One out and another one to come in .You are going to be very busy. Look forward to the truck coolent leak . 👍👍👍👍👍👍
My sister says she likes dogs better than people, me, I say the same, I love the way dogs just know the sound of the truck starting and come running to either say hello or ask for a ride ! Thanks for the video. Good job.
Hi Warren, I know what you mean by changing a cracked hose. I put and engine in my car with less then 5,000 miles on it. One day on my way home I started to smell something sweet. It overheated. I pulled over and shut the engine down. Put a new heater hose on but ended up with a miss in the engine after that. Probably cooked a valve or two. So from that point on I just replace them all. Cheap insurance. Needless to say the car was around another 4 years before the rust belt got it. Glad to see ya try to wear gloves. A good buddy of mine ended with Cancer. He worked with metal for several years. Who knows if that was the cause but he never wore gloves to work.
No wonder you haven't videoed much with such a workload [as usual]. Busy time of year for you. Do you ever sleep Warren. lol Look after yourself man, and thank you for the time you do take to video as much as you do. Regards from Oz.
I am surprised by the number of people who own millions of dollars in equipment. The last thing they change is most of the time. The cheapest is the air filters. Or at least blow them out on a regular basis. In our hay tractors, they get blown out every morning engine , cab, and ac filters. Clean air makes a clean running engine.
That is because no one near him has any! You see shop work where the brands are sold! I watch a Deere technician out of Illinois and someone made the same dumb comment. Why would a Deere Technician work on a IH? They just don’t have any brought to them. He works on the New Hollands in the area but Deere outnumbers them 10/1.
Another great video! Personally my experience with the L9 isn’t a good one. Not saying they are all bad but we have 6 in our fleet that must have been built on a Friday 😂
Wow. I've been watching your videos, and also ZK Mastertech. It would seem JD is really doing badly in putting out a quality product, especially that boat anchor 9.0L engine!
When you are doing engines that are not coming back all the time people talk and you're going to get an awful lot of good work from all that sort of thing, so it's no wonder you're overwhelmed with a engine work. Obviously those guys rebuilding are full of crap but they probably making bad rebuildt engines and you're doing quality work! All the best Warren great to see you're getting along and hopefully staying warm!!
In times of low economic prosperity one of the first things to go is regular (proper) maintenance. This, frighteningly, is as true for aeroplanes as it is for trucks. From what I can see of the agricultural sector, they march to a different drummer, necessity ! If it ain’t broke totally leave it alone !!
I have been buying the “mechanix ” brand gloves, the other day at Lowe’s I saw they had a store brand, yellow box, black gloves, that seemed a good bit heavier latex, and being they aren’t cheap anymore, what are you guys using?
Hi Warren Thanks for your fantastic work. I recommended a Brit to you for info. Mr Hewes. He normally does Tanks and military equipment. He’s got a green machine now. Ha ha ha
The Cummins ISX15 engines sure haven't been as good as they should have been. Front and rear structure oil leaks, high pressure fuel pump failures that can destroy an engine and the dropped liners, high oil consumption due to carbon packing in the piston rings. Almost like they didn't do enough testing before full production. Look at the old Cat C15 engines, seems they all made over the million mile mark before the oil pan or head had to come off.
Another Great Video, Warren. Looks like you have some more engine work on the books. I’m amazed how much you get done, hopefully you get paid well. Thanks for dragging us along on your adventures. I sure do appreciate your Videos.
Man, you're the hardest working mechanic on TH-cam.
I believe in your principles and beliefs. You're the Man.

Thank you warren! I really appreciate you sharing your time and knowledge.
Can you imagine how many people would be screwed if Warren said one that's it I am retired?
His business is so successful he can afford to share his work with us.
They better know what they have and take care of him!
Warren try using a piece of cardboard to block the air flow through the radiator to make it heat up faster
Thanks Warren for another great video.

Hello again Take care .
Those John Deeres break down so much why don't they by Case or NewHolland - I hardly ever see them in your shop
That is because no one near him has any! You see shop work where the brands are sold!

Fine new Machine now stay safe
Another great video! Personally my experience with the L9 isn’t a good one. Not saying they are all bad but we have 6 in our fleet that must have been built on a Friday 😂
Sounds good on start-up.

Nice job
You seem to enjoy working on these hay squeeze trucks.
Any chance it’s the head gasket on the air compressor on that Cummins???
Is it poor maintenance that is creating the engine failures or is it just routine due to high engine hours?

From what I can see of the agricultural sector, they march to a different drummer, necessity ! If it ain’t broke totally leave it alone !!
The one with the cracked intake hose, ate too much dust. Poor maintenance.
Another super vid Warren, lookin for the next one?
Got er done.
good vid warren
Warren, I sure wish I could lend a hand. I'm by no means as skilled as you, but I can take direction, work hard and I show up.
Warren, what percentage of major repairs that you do could have been prevented by basic on time maintenance…fluids, filters, etc
Well Warren, it's the EGR I believe that's responsible for 90 percent of the failure of most modern day diesels
👍
RIP JD
Wrong did not here from them, maybe December shit will go down fock....
I have been buying the “mechanix ” brand gloves, the other day at Lowe’s I saw they had a store brand, yellow box, black gloves, that seemed a good bit heavier latex, and being they aren’t cheap anymore, what are you guys using?
You don't get really cold winters so anti-freeze to -22f is not needed?
Good job thanks
Hi Warren
Thanks for your fantastic work. I recommended a Brit to you for info. Mr Hewes. He normally does Tanks and military equipment. He’s got a green machine now.
Ha ha ha
Cummins Isl9 or Isl8.3?
Well, we know the last engine got dusted and that is why they needed a engine.
See it all the time with SXS’s. Engines won’t last eating dirt.
"Pretty hard to stop a Deere" that's cause they don't run...
Lol...
Hard to work on IH when they don’t sell any near him…….
33:59 34:23
Normal amount of miles for the isk before a rebuild. Replace with a 3406e!
And then you can't license it.
Deere crap!
Can I have a job I'm 27 from Ireland.
I willing to move to your country
Lots of open and really good paying jobs available here in the US... just you would have to move here and life here.
