One of the favorites of the 90s. The 90s was so competitive that these outstanding physiques didn't even make the top 6 or 10 sometimes. He only shined as a pro for 5 years! He really shocked the bodybuilding world in the NPC Nationals '96 and '97 with a crazy physique (0:58) that blew many people away. Also his hamstrings were next level with that hamdrop. One of the stars of the 90s who competed with the best of the best!! ⭐✊
I was ALWAYS a huge fan of Tom's. I went to Cali for a wedding and I went to golds Venice and worked out and just down the street is a restaurant called the fire house I think and they cater to bodybuilders so we went after working out and they seated us right next to Craig Titus and Guy Grundy so we could hear their whole conversation. Shortly after that big Tom walks in weighing over 300lbs and absolutely MASSIVE and Craig said to Guy, "holy shit Tom's getting HUGE." He was a great guy! I hate he's gone. RIP brother!!!
That era was truly the pinnacle of the sport , every body looked like champion 🏆 5,6 of those guys in absence of Ronnie and Dorian could have easily been MrO, even today those guys dwarf the competition
I worked for a decade building strength and put on 40 lbs of muscle. The first 20 came easily, and the other 20 took nine years of consistency in diet, training, rest, and low stress lifestyle. I'm now 62 and still at it, albeit at a far reduced workload and not eating everything within reach. I never even used creatine. I'm too old to start now. To the young guys: don't use gear. Train hard and consistently; eat right; get rest; reduce stress; live long
Grew up watching muscle fitness magazines. 90’s was stacked with the best physiques the world of bodybuilding have graced. Back when they wear suits before the Olympia. Crazy era.
90s were 100% way better then today.. when u look at the lineuos and physiques then its nuts... look at how much harder fhey were, deeper better lines, and smaller waists... /Better aesthetics
I feel you should have acknowledged his health issues regarding his kidney illness. I've watched your channel for years and think you do consistently great work.
@@martinreeves3129 i didn't say it was. I suggested it might be worth mentioning. Heath and bodybuilding go hand in hand and I'm sure as a fan you'll appreciate how dangerous it can be. The video makes reference many times to how short his career was. The fact is it was short because of a major health issue and no other reason. He didn't stop loving lifting. He didn't break a bone which prevented lifting. He had major kidney illness which stopped him competing at an elite level. My comment was about feeling it should have been mentioned so it was clear why his career was so short. Have a great 'damn' good day 🤣
Let’s remember he wasn’t the only one… you had Dorian Yates, Kevin Levrone, Paul Dillet, Gunter S, Markus Ruhl, Dennis James all big monsters of the 90s.
The voice hollowing is a GH issue, I don’t subscribe to the best “when you’re dead” you achieve nothing other than ending your life. That’s not the greatest of anything rather you’re the worst at it because all the legends are still alive.

Tom Prince is by far the best bodybuilder competed in the NPC. His battle against Craig Titus was epic too. Rip Tom Prince he was a great man.
Definitely the greatest era of bodybuilding

He lived his passion and that’s the most important.
Bodybuilding for ever !
Trying to justify destroying your health is so pathetic.
Destroy bodybuilding by negative comments is also pathetic.
Everybody is free of his choices
If did what gave you happiness and in this world I think you did right for yourself and and that's something no one can take away from you
Finally you made it.....been waiting for years
✊️ Thanks for the continued support

All in the name of steroids.
@QuanPookie I think it was definitely something else. Something deadlier.
Absolutely he had that grainy physique combined with mass
Steroids or not, it’s actually impressive how a human can look just like a superhero from the comics

The sad thing is that how many of them supported themselves. Even with the G4P, there are levels to that.
