For anyone wondering about #89, i just did a bit of research on it. Also for any of the *new changes* going on, the exam will have the old laws until an updated version comes out, which usually takes around 2 years. *PAGE 403 in the 11th Edition GIVES A GREAT OUTLINE/GRAPH OF FEDERAL VS STATE FAIR HOUSING LAWS AND THROUGHOUT THE DECADES AS WELL* Fair Housing Act(Federal Protected Classes):Race, Color, Religion, Sex, National Origin, Disability, Familial Status Illinois Humans Rights Act State Protected Classes: Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Disability, Familial Status, Age, Marital Status, Source of Income In Book Pg. 403 underneath the Graph, it states “*The Illunois Human Rights Act specifies both ‘physical and mental’ as disability. It also adds as a protected class: age, ancestry, military status, unfavorable military discharge, sexual orientation, and order of protection status as it impacts employment, real estate transactions, financial credit, or availability of public accommodations.”
Yes, thats correct. But on the exam we will take (my RE instructor told us that the exam wont be updated for atleast the next two years) won’t have anything about the sellers disclosure. So if you see this on exam, ALWAYS choose dual agency. DO NOT choose sellers disclosure over dual agency.
you have to keep in mind that the exam will not be updated for atleast two years from now. thats what my instructor told me. i havent gotten to 89 yet though. ill ask my mom whos a sponsoring broker when i get to it
This is what the book says *PAGE 403 GIVES A GREAT OUTLINE/GRAPH OF FEDERAL VS STATE FAIR HOUSING LAWS AND THROUGHOUT THE DECADES AS WELL* Fair Housing Act(Federal Protected Classes):Race, Color, Religion, Sex, National Origin, Disability, Familial Status Illinois Humans Rights Act State Protected Classes: Race, Color, Religion, National Origin, Sex, Disability, Familial Status, Age, Marital Status, Source of Income In Book Pg. 403 underneath the Graph, it states “*The Illunois Human Rights Act specifies both ‘physical and mental’ as disability. I hope this helped a bit or anyone else wondering 💗
