Loved this! I really like how you point out that changes had to be made for longevity. Chile the way she approached that F5 in Twinkle (I think it was an F5) just wasn't sustainable. I'm glad that she adjusted to a healthier way to approach those notes. I'm also still leaning to her being a mezzo because even when she lightens her mix her voice still sounds heavier and fuller than someone like Wendy for instance.

No one ever was able to explain why Taeyeon's voice changed so much since debut. I am not going to lie, I love her 2008 singing voice for OSTs but I get why she had to change it as she got older. I love Taeyeon's deeper tone
Even Taeyeon herself does not know why her voice got thinner as she got older. I'm thinking that it's because SM forced her to hit notes beyond her range during her early days in SNSD.

taeyeon's songs are like a perfect kdrama. Tittle track is the main lead, B-side tracks are the second lead and you get that second lead syndrome every time. 🥰

Taeyeon & IU are the best female artists in Kpop industry. And i prefer taeyeon, since she has just focused on her career of vocalists rather than being actress(I think she could be good actress😂).
Therefore, her live performances are always stable and she can perform diverse genres as you can see in this video.
One thing im worrying is that her company SM entertainment is not the best option for her fore-career anymore. Though she has received great songs recently, but there are still ups&downs according to her discography. This is because SM nowadays focuses more on Boygroups(actually cashcows) i think. But i always respect her decisions❤

People who enjoy good strong vocals are more drawn to SM groups and artists because of how good their vocalists are
What’s scary is that she isn’t in even the best female vocalist from SM. The top two ever from SM are Lina from The Grace and Luna from the group FX. Just shows how good SM vocalists are. You should have her react to the queen kpop vocalist of them all in kpop industry in Ailee. She is just perfect . Show her some live performances of Ailee.
Taeyeon has her own strengths that other vocalists don't have. It's about preference at the end of the day.
