Martin was a true Irish Patriot. History will remember him with the likes of SANDS, PEARSE, CONNOLLY who tried to make a difference and made a huge difference in helping Catholics from being second class citizens. He also helped on the road to Irish reunification. Rest in peace Martin 🙏🙏🙏🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

I wish Martin McGuinness was still here today but he continues to live on in great spirit and legacy . Yes he did some terrible things well to others was seen as horrific and he has learned from them and became very successful . He is a very remarkable and true patriot , a great world and historical figure . I wish I had the joy to have met him and known him, who knows maybe I have I do not know . He would have made a great friend and confidante and I am not one to trust anyone including those I have the very tragic misfortune to be related to . He has gone too soon . He is also very fine looking , wish he had an identical twin who is single seeing I was beaten in becoming Mrs Martin McGuiness myself that prestigious title was taken instead by the present beautiful Mrs M . I will always have great respect and admiration for HE RT HON Mr Martin McGuiness and same applies to Mr Gerry Adams and the rest of Sein Fein

I cannot understand the complexities of the troubles because I wasn’t there I was born grew up in England albeit my grandfather was a irish immigrant to the UK.Atrocities where committed on all sides of the troubles.Martin had power in the republican community he was the commander in chief of the IRA once committed to the armed struggle.Remarkable that he went all out to acheive participate in the peace process.Wounds take a long time to heal if you lost a loved one at the hand of any political faction it would be near impossible to forgive but someone had to step forward say enough I think he tried to end the fighting like many others and that is commendable.

Martin's Mammy. Legend. I have no opinion of his politics whatsoever. ButI like his quote about what his favourite journey? The journey home, bit of A No Brainer. It's where you feel comfortable, safe and happy. That's why it's called Home.

People can say what they like. But you have to give him at least some credit. Conflict is an ugly affair in which all sides pay a price. At least he acted in tge interests of his people. Which is more than these bastards in Politics are doing now. From an ex Brit soldier.

ATLmodK @MR-mc6rj. It’s very confusing because a comment that said exactly what you mentioned was removed but the reply, that there was was no proof was left up and then there was a reply to that situation. It got very confused, but comments that are destructive to the memories of people who brought Northern Ireland peace are not tolerated on this channel

@@ATroubledLand I commend you for that. All this nonsense & it is nonsense that McGuinness was a tout, J118 is just pointless.By that logic let's accuse everyone of being a tout. Life is not about where you start, it's about where you end up and history will show McGuinness was on the right side - a leader.
