Details - This is a Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers era song recorded sometime in 2020 that leaked in full online on December 16, 2022. It was likely originally intended for the album at some point but never made it to the released version. The song was later given to Sampha.

Listening to these unreleased Kendrick records, I’ve grown even more appreciative of the various ways he experiments with different sonics & rap styles.
It really shows his versatility. I couldn't imagine building an album by picking through the thousands of songs he writes.
