Caitlin set the WNBA single-game record with 19 assists, and is the first rookie in league history to tally a triple-double.

Let's hope ROTY isn't stolen from Caitlin. Throughout their histories, the NBA and WNBA go by personal stats, not team wins (examples below), despite some trying to make the case ROTY should be based on teams wins while saying MVP shouldn't be:
The 2022 Atlanta Dream had a 14-22, was 5th in the EC, 10th in the league yet Howard won because she led in 4 key stats whereas CC now leads the WNBA in 6 key stats.
The 2023 Fever had a player (Boston) win the ROTY despite the Fever placing 10th in the WNBA standings.
And on and on it goes back in the WNBA through its history.
People are going to have to pull a rabbit out of a hat to show Reese has better stats.

Caitlin Clark's popularity has been here for 3yrs. Most was when she was only a college student not even pro. It just shows how MLB is not the top sport in America anymore and shows how irrelevant the New York Yankees have just fallen to another mid their team in baseball behind Astros and Dodgers. The New York Yankees hold no cache for anyone who lives any where in America other than east coast. Plus older sport writers and fans still inflate the Yankees as if they are the relevant franchise of old. They should've never built that weak ass New stadium with no history attached to it like the House that Ruth built had real meaning to goto play in and experience they're new stadium is a manufactured imitation of the old stadium. With the shortestest right field wall distance for a homerun in baseball which is basically a cheap pop fly in every stadium in baseball which really cheapens or down right discredit Judges 60+ Hr single season record for AL which isnt that special when it's been shattered 5 times already in the NL and in MLb history. We saw how almost all sports media defended that reaction and went along with a lot of bs about her. Most of all we saw CC rise above all of them. That’s why she’s more popular than Aaron Judge.
