How do I start my car without the key fob working? Help?!??
If your key fob isn't working due to low battery, there's still hope. You can use the key fob to press the start engine button while holding down the brake. I have a video for that if you need more help

Changed battery, now the only thing that happens is alarm sounds.
Um...better to have someone take a look at it, I don't know why the alarm is activated.
Nissan key fobs are all defective. The battery is not low. If you slap the key fob a few times it works. The key fob circuit board has bad soldering and possibly bad components. Your battery is not low! Nissan should recall all of these defective key fobs
I am not so sure about the "all defective" part. However, I guess I am lucky since my key fobs are functioning again after changing the battery. I do agree with you that some key fobs could be defective to begin with. To be honest, I will change to Toyota or Honda when my Nissan retires.

Try to use the key fob itself and push the start engine button while holding down the brake to see if you can start the car. If not, try to change the battery for the key fob and then try again. If still don't work, maybe the key fob is broken or something wrong with the car itself, I suggest you bring your car to have a professional check it out.

Also you put the key on the start button and press it. The key send a signal to the transponder to start the car
You got it! But you know, many ppl (including myself) simply search on TH-cam for answers. Most of the car-related videos that I uploaded to my channel are problems that I have encountered myself :) I am thinking that the information may be useful for other people so I made those videos.

@@clarareynolds7519 hi, have you try to use the key fob to press the "start" engine button? If the problem is caused by a low battery key fob , this method should work. I have also post the link in the comment section which go to the videos that shows you how to do it. However, if that method doesn't work. Try to change the battery for the key fob (which I also have a video for it). If still doesn't work, it is beyond my knowledge, I suggest you bring it to a mechanic. There are so many possibilities at this point, better to have a professional to check it. (Could be battery problem, could be wiring problem or other reasons)
