I love these sisters!! You really should see the oldest sister, Almira's newly released cover of Broken Vow!!! It is so moving it might actually bring a tear to your eye! You really can feel her broken heart! I always love your reactions!! Thank you!!!!
I enjoyed your reaction to their singing, as always. I doubt you'll want to follow up on this, after your disappointment with the audio quality, but our band of sisters also recorded three other songs during this MYX session. They performed "Rockaby," by Clean Bandit (which some reactors at the time said was among their favorite 4th Impact videos), and did a reprise of their X Factor audition song, "Bang Bang," along with their one original song from the last few years, "Unleash the Diva" (and I personally find this rendition to be the most fun to watch of the several different versions you can find online, including their official music video).

Loved your reaction and honesty...These girls operate on a shoestring budget. Until 3 years ago they were going to performances in a taxi because they couldn't afford a car. They do everything themselves except the limited times they are performing in a professional studio I guess we will always have these hits and misses as long as their limited budget or lack of professional help gets in their way.
In this case, the equipment was set up and the recording and camera work done by people at MYX. 4th Impact had nothing to do with the production values; they just went into the MYX studio to record the songs, in the same way that they sometimes do at WISH 107.5. However, you're right about some of their other videos, especially the ones where they were sitting side by side on a couch in somebody's living room, recording on what appears to be a single mic, maybe built into the video camera (or cell phone?).
I don't know squat about recording studios or soundboards or balancing mics or that stuff but a lot of the their recordings seem amateurish. I can hear tinny sounds and imbalanced sounds and soft sounds that are lost . That makes me so sad because they are incredible singers and deserve so much more than they are receiving. They can go on the wish bus and their music sounds fabulous...Why can't they produce consistent results like so many other singers and groups ??
@@D-BoyUSA Well, for one thing, most singers and groups you hear are already established artists who put out recordings that are produced in top of the line studios run by professional engineers and producers. Our four sisters aren't at that level, yet, and have to cover the costs themselves, if they decide to enlist experienced studio help. That said, I think most of what they've released in the last year or so, as a group, has had very good audio quality. Never Enough, This Is Me, No Tears Left to Cry, Bohemian Rhapsody, Speechless and I'll Never Love Again were all well done. On the other hand, during parts of Imagine, the gain on Irene's mic was set too high, resulting in unpleasant distortion of some of her vocals, which was unfortunate for such a gorgeous performance. And further back, they did a cover of Havana that had such terrible audio quality, I couldn't listen to it more than once. So I know what you mean.
Thanks David for your comments...I wish the girls would read your words then apply them so they are putting out a consistent product. It's like me going to a grocery store and buying a steak. If I get a tough one every now and then from the same store I'm going to think about going to another store to buy my meats. I know that's over simplified but meat lovers love good meat.
