Hello my friend,
Fine Arts; These are the things that the human hand, head and heart work together. I watched a great design. Congratulations. See you. Big greetings.
Thank you very much, glad you enjoy.... 🤗
glad you enjoy building them, quick; easy and enjoyable and allow you to decorate as your heart wishes.
I didn't realize until the video was over that I'd been smiling the entire time.
Awsome 😀 hopefully in a nice happy way😀
Watching you is like watching Richard 😊
Thank you, its an honor 👍
Very nice small bowls. 😃😃
Thank you 👍
Very good Tomi, and you got them to match as well. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you,I try to get them as close as I could....turn out great....🤗
Lovely little bowls, great for salt!
They are used for when you have big dinner so everyone can get to spices 🤗
Good use of small pieces. Can't say scrap when it's useful. I made a bunch of similar bowls for Christmas gifts this year. Used up a bunch of small exotic wood cut offs that had been around my shop for quite a while. They went over very well.
I've got to say that you use jam chucks to good advantage. That's a technique that I've overlooked. Thanks for showing that.
Thank you Randy , I thought myself about jam chucks where I didn't have a jaws the right size for vacuum cups for maderotherapy to reverse them so I have to jam 50 of those cups and love the hole process since it does teach other techiques..... Thank once again for watching 😀
Cute little bowls. Nice job.
Thank you fala ti🤗
Congratulations on what you do !!!
Thank you Gabi for watching 🤗.
You have great tool control kind sir..
Thank you Sir😉
I must try a few of these I have a ton of scraps left over I can use. I saw Richard Raffan do something similar a little while ago. Great work Tom!
Thank you Mike, thanks for watching 😀
Indeed Richard made his from oak I believe......these scraps are just to nice to burn so there is always some of them wainting to live a life as bowl or something similar
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning exactly, I can't bring myself to throw away even the smallest scraps
Well done Tomislav! Not only great tool control, but great tool sharpening . Perhaps a video clip of your approach to sharpening sometime. I know Richard prefers freehand, you as well?
Thank you very much.... There is a sharpening video on the list...😀 I do slitly different then Richard but freehand as well😀
Lovely bowls! I love makeing small bowls and find they sell more easily at the markets.
Thanks, they do sell well 😀
As you said, I find making small bowls like this very relaxing. Also, oddly satisfying. Very nice job. 👌
Satisfying is a right word🤗 Thank you for watching 🤗
Nice! I'm busy with precicely that at the moment - little scraps that I used to throw in the fire. Regards.
Its nice to use those scraps .... Its very awarding to Save it from fire😀
Nice
Thanks 🤗
You make beautiful bowls! Tomislav, you copy Richard even in small things, but the original is always more valuable than the copy!! You come up with something new!
It doesn't look like one of my bowls. It's a TT original and I doubt people would pay more for mine.
Thank you,🤗its hard to stay original where most of the shapes were already taken, either from potters or turners.... I just made the most from those scraps.... 😀
Thank you Sir🤗
@@RichardRaffanwoodturning Richard, I wrote about Tomislav's style of work! I really like your style, and Tomislav copies it completely.
@@tomislavtomasicwoodturning Take a good look at the book Richard "The Art of Turned Bowls". Especially the finishing section, there are a lot of elements for inspiration!
