How to Reach Jakarta from Bali | Complete Guide 2022 | Indonesia | Ferry | Bus | Train | Travel Vlog

- In this video, I will help you to travel to Jakarta, Java, Indonesia. I am traveling by Ferry, Bus, Train, and Daytrans
So I started for Java also known as Jawa and Jakarta on the northwest coast of the island of Java. So first I went to Mengwi (In BALI) bus station for Gilimanuk harbor and it’s cost me Rp.50K (Rs.250) Exclusive Class bus and it takes 3-4 Hours but for the record, Gilimanuk is Bali’s harbor so as we have to Banyuwangi Harbour by ferry and it cost me Rp. 16K (Rs.80) and it took 1 Hour to reach Banyuwangi Harbour The boat was capable to take 400-500 People but again for the record Banyuwangi Harbour is the harbor of Java.
After reaching there I have taken stay which is IjenBackpacker.com and its located Near Banyuwangi Harbour (g.page/ijenbackpacker?share) and I paid Rp. 50K (Rs. 250) per night
Tip: Before going to stay first calls once to the owner does it is available at the location or not for Java Island
Then I went for currency exchange at BNI Bank and then for my next destination I went to nearest Indo Mart for train ticket booking but there 2 more ways to book one is KAI Access App or Traveloka App and second, you can go train station.

So I booked a train ticket for Banyuwangi to Malang, it cost me Rp.62K (Rs.300) with Economy Class also you can order food on the train. After reaching Malang again I took one more stay which is 10 min walk from the station and my stay was RedDoorz and paid Rp.72K (Rs.380) per night this hostel is very famous in Malang, Java (Jawa).
Then I went to Bandung, there is a way to go direct to Jakarta but I thought to go to Bandung first because Direct Jakarta was day travel and better to travel at night instead of day travel so that cost me Rp.300K (Rs.1500), after reaching Bandung I didn’t get any train ticket direct to Jakarta it was sold out, so thought to go via bus and I got to know there is bus DayTrans Bus and you will get easier because its available frequently. So After reaching Jakarta, I took Gojek Ride to reach my stay and my stay was Konka Hostel Located in Central Java. They will ask for Deposit cash 200K or submit a passport but my suggestion is not to give and give some other ID. I booked a dorm in it and paid Rp.75K (Rs.400) per Night, so yeah that’s it.

Yes it's possible and you can book ferry from bali to banyuwangi, then ferry and from banyuwangi to by train also you can go

That means you have to get out from the airplane, cross the immigration, collect your bag, again go to the counter where you have to do check-in, submit your bags there and fly to Bali
But I will recommend you take a flight which has a layover at different country so you can collect bag in Bali and have to clear immigration directly in Bali

1) How far is the bus terminus from say Kuta or Ubud
2) How you reached there
3) How much did it cost
4) How frequent is the bus service to Gilimanuk
5) What is the fare
6) How long did it take
I have been to Indonesia several times. Using public transport in Bali is not easy like in India. Even if you answer all these questions a newcomer will still find it difficult. And after Covid it has become even more difficult. I know because I send people abroad. Latest and accurate information is a must. Your video lack information. You are young. With time you will learn.

And every 1 hour you will get a bus
Also mentioned the cost and duration

SO THERE ISN'T A DIRECT TRAIN OR A BUS FROM JAKARTA TO BALI?
There is direct flight, but if you want to go by bus then you have to change bus and ferry
