The critical issue, in my assessment, is the need for a high-caliber backup quarterback and an offensive coordinator. Top-tier teams consistently maintain this structure.
If our defense plays like they did the second half of football, I have zero fear! The only game I am worried about next year is going to LSU. Too optimistic? If you don’t know, you haven’t been paying attention! Oh, Napier needs to get better as a game day coach! We cannot forget that. lol
Tried to input ads on the old one, but it wouldn't let me. Usually if it doesn't let me right away, it takes days for YT to allow me to do so. To fix, I have to upload the recording.
Don’t know if I agree with Will on stacking talent especially with how guys are entering in and out the transfer portal. Long gone are the days where Bama and Georgia and similar schools were able to do so. Also, think UF is not as far off as some think. Continue developing the core guys you have to take the next step and add right pieces in the portal and that what Billy and his staff is doing. Get an OC and DC and go out in 25 and win 10+ games.
You must not follow recruiting every person who’s left has been replaced by a higher rated player coming in this season had 5 top 100 players and last year we had 3 all are still at Florida 🫡
To have a 9-3 regular season, 10 wins with the bowl game, like Ole Miss, for 2025 would be another year of improvements. So, for 2025 I would accept that. I wouldn’t accept it for 2026.
Will lost all credibility when Michigan dominated and won the natty without a top 3 class or a top 5 player rating. Can’t just ignore HARD data points because they don’t fit your math narratives
@ ok so what about ND dominating Uga? ND certainly didn’t have as many 5 stars as Georgia, they’ve never had a player rating higher than Georgia, do we just ignore that data points because it’s not a math equation?
@ Once again you’re looking at the rare instances. That is the only matchup so far in the CFP where the team with the talent advantage has lost. There will always be exceptions to the rule. The argument has always been for consistency, not a flash in the pan. Again, that may start to change in the new world of college football.
@ and also the argument is usually what it takes to win in the SEC. We’ve seen teams from other conferences do it another way. Hasn’t been done that way in the SEC.
@@GatorsBreakdown Michigan and ND proved that analytics don’t mean a damn thing. You play the games on the field and not with a calculator. Exception or not it happened. You don’t need top 3 classes to win a natty, and that’s a FACT!
Always listening while I’m working out. Love the show!
@@zachgrader1424 I’ll take it!
Go Gators 🐊
Great Episode!
@@pablobueno4042 Thanks!
Good question I just tried to watch it

Why did he delete the first one

Has anyone thought of Jimmy Lake as a possible DC?
Sun belt Billy will be the OC.

I agree. And I think he's built a culture sturdy enough that we haven't had many contributors leave.

CFP or he's out, pretty simple to me. I say this because his awful OC'ing will be the reason we miss it
Hatin aass will miles, trask was beasting, cut and dry
Where are Silly Billy's portal difference makers to send them to the top?
Getting drafted to the nfl after back to back seasons ☠️

@@daevonanthony7962 Not really. One case doesn’t invalidate it. It’s an exception to the rule. Certainly can change in this new world.

Unfortunately for Florida, Silly Billy can't be counted on for a playoff run, even with DJ. Go Gators!
If Billy hires a play calling consult or hires a young, innovative passing coordinator to work with, would you change your thoughts?
