Where did this year go? It feels like Holomyth will be having their 3 year anniversary before I know it at this rate. A big 10Q to Ina and Bae for the inspiring art class. Really, what a deal! I doodle from time to time, but always find it hard to draw chibis. Learnt a lot from the stream, TSKR.🙏 Must rewatch to do some revision before Ina Sensei's next class, looking forward to that as well.👍
So, Pikachu has never had any sort of coloring on the end of it's tail. There is a dark shade towards the base of the tail, but not on the end. There are, however, some instances of Pikachu being depicted with coloration on the end of the tail, such as the Luchador Pikachu from Pokken Tournament. Additionally, Pichu features an all-black tail, which could also explain the confusion. In a similar vain, Looney Tunes (not Toons, being short for cartoons, as most assume) is actually named as such because it (along with it's partner series Merrie Melodies) were used to feature Warner Bros' musical catalog, in an attempt to rival Disney's series of Silly Symphony shorts, which prominently featured musical selections. ..All that to say, the Mandela Effect usually has a pretty common explanation for why we mis-remember things. Anyways, great stream! I actually learned some drawing tips myself!

This was another comfy class and Bae is indeed getting a lot better. Her chibi drawing of chibi Ina was pretty good and the whole Pikachu tail plot twist was funny lol. I am pretty sure that pikachu did have a black coloring on it's tail at 1 point but I could be wrong about that. Either way this was a super fun drawing stream and a nice relaxing one so nice job Ina sensei and Bae!

First time I've ever heard about that Pikachu thing. When it evolves its tail becomes a long dark whip with a yellow lightning at the end - why would the color distribution be inverted in the first form?

So, Pikachu has never had any sort of coloring on the end of it's tail. There is a dark shade towards the base of the tail, but not on the end. There are, however, some instances of Pikachu being depicted with coloration on the end of the tail, such as the Luchador Pikachu from Pokken Tournament. Additionally, Pichu features an all-black tail, which could also explain the confusion.
In a similar vain, Looney Tunes (not Toons, being short for cartoons, as most assume) is actually named as such because it (along with it's partner series Merrie Melodies) were used to feature Warner Bros' musical catalog, in an attempt to rival Disney's series of Silly Symphony shorts, which prominently featured musical selections.
..All that to say, the Mandela Effect usually has a pretty common explanation for why we mis-remember things. Anyways, great stream! I actually learned some drawing tips myself!

This was another comfy class and Bae is indeed getting a lot better. Her chibi drawing of chibi Ina was pretty good and the whole Pikachu tail plot twist was funny lol. I am pretty sure that pikachu did have a black coloring on it's tail at 1 point but I could be wrong about that. Either way this was a super fun drawing stream and a nice relaxing one so nice job Ina sensei and Bae!
