You are an inspiration and a skilled 'tree remover". You make a very interesting channel because you are a great teacher and explain what thought process you use to make cuts and maintain your safety. It is nice to hear your encouraging words. Blessings to you.
I thought that was just for practice... it seems like a lot of west coast guys like using wedges... it's a mindset... pull lines allow for fatter hinges and more control against side lean when needed. Good job... those are some real trees@VeteranTreeService
I was going to say the same thing. As long as it’s straight. Donover 50%. Especially since it’s such a big stump and so much holding wood will be left on the back side to support it
It's cool as long as you aren't afraid of heights. I like working broad trees too. I don't have to worry about wind, longer ropes, getting gear away up there, rigging down logs, or having a piece of firewood go rouge and flying through a house or fence.
@@VeteranTreeService oh yeah, not like saying all you can do is poles i guess with all the multi-steam and small tree reductions i have to do i dont often get any poles
Love it rad job just curious why you don't pull logs with a rope once your down to the spar or use your chipper winch instead of always fighting the wedges . Not trying to be an ass just curious
I really like all your videos huge fan! Just one question tho instead of pounding wedges why not just set a line and pull it over? Again really like your videos just curious question stay safe!
It may sound weird, but we just like to hit wedges. 😆 It's great practice too. A pull rope is simple and less effort, I just get tired of trying to recover it when it's trapped under a log and/or under limbs. It's so nice to avoid that! Plus, it's cool to just walk up to a tree and have the skill and confidence to wedge it over. That only comes with practice, which is what we're doing here. 👍👋
The world record is 2 trees in 1 day. So no. Unless you are doing it on the day you set your clocks back 1 hour so you get extra time. ... but that would be cheating and Timbo dont cheat.. so... no. Final answer!

That chip truck is sick

Thank you for the kind words!
Great music
I had faith on the 3 trees.
Nice work
Thanks Rick!
@ Yessir!
Thank you for taking us along
Great edit! I try and Cut them notches deeper when it’s a short totem pole to make it easier than banging all them wedges lol.
Awesome job as always.
Totally agree! 👍
Would be nice to see the Ground Guys during a Speedline Day...Thanks, fun Vid!
Enjoying the videos! I miss working for a tree service. I was actually cut by a chain saw on my leg from another worker lol
I'd be ticked! 😠
Great edit man! Thanks for having me out!
great job with the trees and the video!
Hey! Long time. 👍
Great song choice lol and the clips are awesome I’m just starting climbing and I’ve learned lots from you and Jake at treeson good work brother
Treeson learned from me! 😉 Jk. @guiltyofteeeson
Climbing tall trees and cutting them with a chainsaw is truly a big challenge. But the footage is incredibly captivating and exciting.
Great video and good choice of music
Sick edit bro!
I always leave a pull line on spars. Way faster to pull it over than to wedge it over.
We just like to bang wedges! 😅

Rope man needs to let run those tops 😅
Eh it's all good

Deaper face cut

@ I agree!that makes since! Thanks for the response!
you guys need a EDER - Titan Pro folding wedge 😄
Why do W coast guys not use a pull line! Safety and speed.
That wedge banging was painful to watch

😭 I guess I'll have to work harder! 🫡
Deeper wider gap face
I wish you would stop destroying these beautiful trees. Your killing our ego system.
We’d have that done in 5 hours and cleaned up with a crane
Haha. Well, I didn't have one of those in my back pocket. Maybe in my future though. 🤷♂️
@ my cost would’ve been 3500 with our crane - is the price comparable to yours?
@@toddkruger1223 I did it for a little less. I'm just trying to stay busy. Keep people working.
