I came here to say that. George Laurer was my dad. Also, Norman Joseph Woodland went by Joe, not Norman!

    Question
When did we first start using bar codes on products?
    Answer:
"Bar codes have been around since 1963 and were introduced as a means of identifying products in commercial transactions in the 1970s. A product of the computer age, they are alphanumeric codes that are read by a laser (scanner)."
Back in the 70''s while working in a small distribution warehouse for 5 variety stores I first noticed bar codes on the cardboard cases of merchandise. There were no scanners in the stores back then yet.

amazing video!1 The music wasn't loud at all. There are a couple of tweaks that could be made in animation/ rhythm, but it is great already.

Yeah its weird, I scan package barcodes all day and some scan others dont but its not consistent, while some that look smudged scan one that more clean doesn't.

@jennykim4809 it breaks my heart every day. Because I know it's coming in the next year/years. When nobody will expext it, and there will be no more saving us.

    What’s with the annoying music?

The music is overly upbeat and doesn't sit well with the narrator's tone.

Very little "how" + horrible intrusive music! Did an adult review this video prior to release? Best of luck, but this is sort of awful.
