- In this series, I attempt to construct a 1000 block tall tower in Minecraft Survival. I will use a data pack to increase the world height once I reach 320 blocks.

you could build a miniature model of your tower in your tower. Also great episode, its just so chill watching you build and stuff :)
Thank you for your suggestion. I thought about it, but even at a scale of 1:10 it would be 90 blocks tall (100 once I am finished) and I don't think I can fit that inside the tower. I can however build it outside of the tower.

Mars actually has moons: Phobos and Deimos (although they are really small)
You are right. I basically ignored the smaller moons. Otherwise I would have needed to build the dozens of moons for the gas giants.

The solar system isn't horizontal, Funkuchen. It's 90 degrees as it's revolving around the galaxy's center of mass.

Eris isn ot the reason why Pluto is not a planet. It is because Pluto has weak gravity that could not clear any stranger debris or whatever stuff.
While that is true, the requirement for a planet to clear it's orbit was only added by the IAU in 2006. The IAU decided to change the requirements for being considered a proper planet, because they found Eris.
Eris fulfilled the old definition and the IAU had to decide on whether to make Eris a planet or change the definition.
They decided to change the definition, because it is expected that in the future more bodies of the size of Eris will be discovered in the Kuiper belt.
@@thefunkuchen3705 Eris was discovered in 2005 not found in 2006 (otherwise it would be morally wrong, and it discovered lately because it has a greater distance from sun and Earth) despite it having greater mass therefore greater gravity, it cannot clear any debris or minor planet from its orbit.
Oh, the kuiper belt isn't flat, Funkuchen. It should be tilted a bit.
I built an extremely simplified model of the kuiper belt. In reality most trans-Neptunian objects have very elliptical orbits to the point where calling it a belt might even be misleading.

The sun isn't orange. It should be made of sea lanterns instead of magma blocks.
You are right. The sun is white. It only appears orange/yellow through earth's atmosphere.
Salacia and Orcus aren't of the sane size. Orcus is larger than Salacia.

I wrote a data pack to raise the height limit to 1024. Since 1.18 this is possible.

The tower contains almost 500,000 blocks. A tutorial would be unrealistic. But a download for java can be found in the description.
