That could be. I am planning to take mine out this morning to see if moving the CG foward has any impact on it. Still VERY touchy on the elevator.

    Hi Thintz,
    Thanks for your videos.
    A small question.
You have built 2 YAK 54, from Pilot-RC and Flex-Innovation.
Which of the two models was the easiest to fly.Which of the models has the highest quality? One of the two models must be my first "big" model.Looking forward to hearing from you.
    with best regards

The Pilot version is the better plane for me. They make good quality planes and it flew very well. I believe the Flex Innovations Yak has been discontinued which is never a great sign.

thintz12 I just finished buildig that plane! While measuring the rudder movement, i realized that the Elevator and the wingtip on the right side are around 1cm higher then the left side. Is that to counter the engine force? Or is that a construction mistake?

I'm not sure how you are leveling the plane in the first place to make sure you are getting a real difference. Either way, contact the Flex Innovations folks for the real answer. They are great people and the ones answering the questions actually did the development flights so they KNOW their planes!

Whats wrong with the stab? angle? i Have this plane myself. Soon ready for maiden.

Mine had a warped elevator but Flex Innovations replaced the whole stab set to avoid trying to cut the elevators out and re-use the stabs themselves.
