Mate, you do a ripper job of these videos, I’m most likely moving to Brisbane and have gone through heaps of TH-cam channels on Brisbane and yours is far superior. Very well presented and the end product is very professional. 👍
Hello, thanks for the great video on the gas topic! I'm moving to Australia on a WHV next year. Feeling like outer Melbourne area is where I plan on living first until I get settled in. Cheers!
Great video. I live in NZ and prices are as twice high as in Australia. Also no Factory Outlets, no food chain competition which drives food prices to the maximum.
Great video, I’m researching cost of living in Brisbane vs Tokyo to see how things compare. Tokyo is actually cheaper than people realise if living locally, not like an expat.
Yes, I think most places are like that. I lived in China and Vietnam, and was amazed at how much other expats spent on things. I admit I did treat myself occasionally to some comfort foods when I felt especially homesick, but I definitely lived on MUCH less than those who didn't want to integrate a little more into local lifestyles.
Great video. Thanks a lot Adam for these tips. Following some of those at the moment. Would like to check more about green grocers to save some money :) .
Additional fuel tip... Discount fuel is available at Costco fuel outlets... today on diesel it amounted to 28 cents per litre. On 98 it can be as high as 55c/litre. You will need to be a member of Costco, which requires an annual fee. Commuters in locations near to Costco can likely pay their fee in a few weeks... and you get access to some bargains at Costco... although many items can be more expensive, so as always... know your pricing.
Hi. I'd recommend checking the links I've put in the following two videos' description sections: For flood maps: th-cam.com/video/2gtRqCTIqAA/w-d-xo.html To check schools (and other tips on choosing a suburb): th-cam.com/video/QUEIICtESO4/w-d-xo.html I'd also recommend reading through reviews on homely for any suburb you're considering. Here's a link to that for Greenbank: www.homely.com.au/greenbank-beaudesert-brisbane-queensland
Yes, Australia is quite expensive compared to many other countries, I think! Makes it great when Aussies visit those countries, as our money goes further, but it's much harder for people coming here from other countries!
I think prices will settle down a bit soon (well, maybe by the end of the year), but I don't think the cost of living here will ever overtake Sydney and Melbourne. 🤞
Hello sir. Why there are not many people in Brisbane city and its areas ? i wondered like many of us. Were is where the people is each time you film something ? I dont see many people around. Australians been very anti-socials ? Is where is everyone ? i dont see many people in your city Brisbane.
Brisbane has a low population, and a very large area, so the population density is very, very low. This video gives more details: th-cam.com/video/CBy3xzSs8J8/w-d-xo.html
@@BrisbaneChannel well that doesnt explain why they built things if no.. one.. is actually going to use it by walking around and enjoying the places... Why do i only see people just like queener street mall and south-bank only? So basically why do brisbane built things if... no one is there to use it by walking round and to enjoy it?. They spent billions of dollars and millions of dollars for been used by hardly no one around? Not very smart perhaps. What you think? I think Australians are a little naieve they stay too much inside their homes. Not saying your one of them. But you walk in suburbs and theres hardly no one in the streets where there are houses.. Are we saying Australians are very introverts and hardly comes out from their own house?
Sorry to create new wording here. I mean if you saying Brisbane has low population.. that does not make sense to why built everything so big with everything if no one is there to enjoy it... Wasting millions and billions for hardly no one enjoying it? That i dont get it in australia. Also you drive in the brisbane suburbs lots of houses and you hardly see one one in the streets.. its like the entire brisbane is empty people with just built things there with no one around.. See what i mean ? Your saying that australians are not very social to others and they all remain hidden inside thier homes? I mean brisbane has massive heaps of houses but where are the people ? from the city to the subsurbs.. all you see is a city... lots of houses out there and cars.. But no people walking around or kids playing around other then just the queener street mall and southbank. What do you have to say about that ?
@@BrisbaneChannel I dont think its because there;s less people. Otherwise they wouldn't end up building things and make it look empty afterwards. I think australians are far too introvert or they never come out of the house. You walk in the streets you see many houses and you dont see anyone in the streets at all its like empty.... your saying that houses are empty as well because the so what low density ? despite the heaps and heaps of houses everywhere you go all over brisbane
I’m moving to bris in the next 2 months and love your videos! Very informative 👍 don’t stop this channel ever !

Your video is very useful to help everybody saving money. Great video.

That Golden Circle location is a great idea, what a saving! The toy library was a new concept to me too. Nice video Adam.
Cheers!

Yes, I'd heard the cost of living in NZ is crazy.
Very interesting video! I was born in Brisbane but you just taught me some tips that I wouldn't have thought of.
That's great to hear!
Keep up the good work mate
Cheers!
I'm living in Bri and this video is very useful. Thank you Adam.
I'm glad to hear that. Thanks Joan!

Thanks bro! I'll remember it when we move :)
Nice video as always!

Hi! I really enjoy your videos. Pls, Can you tell me where is a good greengrocer near to adelaide street in Brisbane? Thank u a lot!
Unfortunately the green grocers tend to be out in the suburbs, there's none very close to the city centre.

Yep, that's another one worth looking into, especially for people who live close to Costco. Thanks for sharing it!
Hi, can you help me info on Greenbank acreage livving suburb. Suburb profile, flooding, schools and is it a good suburb to move to from Melbourne

we need one in Logan
One what?

@@Itsabeautifuldayalways I wish there was. Would be much closer to me.
Compare to Philippines it’s really expensive the cost of living here in Oz. 👍🏻
Yes, Australia is quite expensive compared to many other countries, I think! Makes it great when Aussies visit those countries, as our money goes further, but it's much harder for people coming here from other countries!
Inflation is surely felt now in Brissie. I'm hoping though we're not gonna be as pricey as Sydney/Melbourne when the 2032 Olympics come.
I think prices will settle down a bit soon (well, maybe by the end of the year), but I don't think the cost of living here will ever overtake Sydney and Melbourne. 🤞
Australia is the 11th most expensive country to live in
To be honest, I'm surprised it's only 11th!
Yeah I know right

The lifestyle is different, and as I mentioned before, the low population density makes it look more empty than it actually is.
