Excellent, and well thought layout! I liked the fact that the diorama wasn't fully engaged combat, but in preparation for, with the other support elements that are required, to support combat operations.
Spotted two Rommel figures. One on the IVD (Masterbox 3561) and one on the ground with his hands behind his back (probably Dragon 6364, but could be others).
Thanks ;) I have looked at many pictures and videos. In many cases, neither was visible. (Of course there are also photos where both could be seen very well.) In stony desert (which I tried to recreate) the ground was probably too hard. In the sandy desert, the sand must have quickly collapsed and / or blown away. I have subtly indicated slight track in places. But they disappear completely in the photos, unfortunately... :(
Fantastic diorama and modelling but why those sound effects for a diorama where you have guys basically resting up? Sounds cool but a bit out of sync with what you’re showing. 👍
@@Rainers_Modellbau Just visited . Indeed not very surprised it took more than one year . Beautiful work with the weathering on the vehiucles ! Like your home made well . As well great details such the cheese and the letters and papers . Brilliant diorama Sir !

Thanks :) Yes, that's how it was meant to be. To show the eternal back and forth a little bit. With the available figures and their poses.
Truly brilliant l appreciate the detail

I know, but you're the first to notice or comment :) For me, the figure is another high-ranking officer next to Rommel. Artistic freedom ;)
Impressive diorama, Rainer!
Thank you Mark :)

The sound is simply to emphasise the theme of "war" and is only loosely linked to the diorama shown. This is my thought on the matter.
A brilliant diorama with multiples interesting small scenes . Fantastic work ! How many weeks you need to complete It ?
Thx :D I started on Fri 21 Aug 2020, 17:02 :D
That's when my construction report was started, see here: community.revell.de/viewtopic.php?f=58&t=7670

What happened to the Hakenkreuz in you roof top flag?
I come from Austria and here it is forbidden. Unfortunately also in model building.
@@Rainers_Modellbau So if history is edited, what else are they not letting you know?
