- In Todays video we follow Tom and anyone else he can find to help him in his quest to build advanced military vehicles with which to dominate the local settlements of the Rimworld he finds himself stuck on.

Ive been playing with them for a while. The mods are awesome but very glithy sometimes, especially when caravaning. It's really fun but It still needs more developting.
I loved the Lamas in hats reference even though it was Alpacas instead with the rumbles that only hands could satisfy

The lesson every rimworld player learns, keep your chemfuel in a shed away from the base or in a blast proof room. Also, make individual bays for drop pod launchers or other vehicles that haul chemfuel so they dont obliderate your base upon being shaken

Rimworld is the only game where a cannibal cult with a WW2 era APC can roll up, merc a whole city, take a prisoner, then shoot that prisoner as they attempt an escape, then that prisoner turns to a member of that cult and then falls in love with the very guy that shot her in the face.
Rimworld truly is an amazing story generator. My favorite was when I did a Mechanist run and my shut-in mechanist that had perks that made him like being alone and indoors... had his daughter fall from the sky. She had similar perks minus the " I wanna be alone " - but regardless I had different compounds built for both, each guarded by a single mini-turret and a duo of Militors.
Eventually my mech guy begins talking with his daughter more. They begin eating together despite having many other options for tables, all excellent quality from our constructor. They start eating and chatting. Eventually his adoration for his daughter outweighs his debuff from " I don't like human contact " - and the two of them over time become deadly augmented super soldiers. Eventually? His wife falls from the sky too. It became a family of augmented humans that killed their way through small towns 20 - 30 people, mortars and heavy turrets strong. Uranium slug chain shotguns, advanced rifles and such used to decimate entire civilizations. A trio of Crysis protagonists that would show up and literally punch the heads off of people.

This content scratches much the same itch as AmbigousAmphibian's does to me, all while still being unique.
I know Haxxor is aware of AA, and I think they've played together (not sure though). Similar styles, but with their own unique flavors.

I love how no base you have last forever. They always fall, either because they decided to blow it all up, it falls to bugs, mechs or megasloths and usually there's one survivor shaking in the corner. Except for that one mountain man who jacks off in the kitchen, he'll outlive the sun.
Love these, they always re-inspire me to play Rimworld, right now I'm looking over a colony of blind wizards.
I love how once he gets bored of the run he takes the care to put a good ending to his colonies. i mean, 3 deep-drills right next to his Chemfuel carrying rocketpod in the center of his base?
He is either staging his colony's ending or he is just very, very unaware. Like, all his colonies end with some kind of a very easily and avoidable mistake.
@@t_gabiuel6058 you kinda have to. Once you get 100+ hours in the game, its not hard if you do everything optimally. Even on the hardest difficulties where theres 15x raiders than you have defenders, if you have a nice killbox set up then its literally impossible to die. Thats why I have a whole bunch of self imposed rules to make the game more challanging.
I never make a killbox, just a kill field. I play with combat extended so the ranges are insane, an LMG can hit literally anything on a small map, I play on the largest because of that. My defenses are walls with several different bunkers that you can go between within the walls as a permiter
No unmanned turrets. I dont like the idea of a full AI powered turret with friend or foe detection in a world where AI fucks with humans literally for fun. Plus, .50 cal machine guns are fun as fuck to use
And finally, I dont make my guys wear their armor 24/7, thats more enforced by CE making everything have weight and bulk so someone wearing full flak gear could carry like 4 steel
@@agentbarron3945I don't make my guys wear armor 24/7 and I don't use CE. I just want my flak and recon armor to last more than 1 year before I need to replace it.
My latest dumb idea for a run is the Run!
Every raid grab what you can and leave. Walk as far as you move in a day towards the pre-made ship and once you stop for the night, settle anew... It's awful and I'm loving it.

Im currently doing a playthrough myself called "art and war" where i focus on art and melee/ shooting pawns and make an enjoyable colony. You truly inspire me, you're video making skills is grand in every way and i look forward to every upload

Here’s a rimworld colony idea, have a colony that is extremely focused on their ideology, either fluid or not. Focus on getting relics, spreading the ideology, etc. I haven’t actually seen anyone get the pilgrims the game talks about with relics, so I’m interested in a colony focused on ideology

You should play Rimworld, but it's a concept that would make an enjoyable video. I know it's something you've done before a lot, but I think people would enjoy it! All sarcasm aside, a notification of a new Hazzor video is always a welcome sight on my home screen.

My fun suggestion is Vanilla Factions Expanded - Deserters. No one really makes videos focused on it.
I feel justified always building an overkill fuel storage room. All stone, double walled, double doored. No power conduits or lighting. Sometimes it's not even in the base proper because any raiders attacking it would definitely regret their decision.

Try on the coldest spot on the world, solo as a cannibal so you can actually survive and have food from raiders. Guaranteed fun times as you kite enemies while they freeze :)
You should do a 50 day blind playthrough of rimworld where you have to both blind every colonist and wear a blindfold

Roadrunner pickup trucks make very robust melee weapons against raiders and mechanoids alike, just make sure they don't path through an alley in your base and run over a colonist/beloved pet raptor!

A terrific idea would be Rimworld with all pawns set to NOT clean at all. Then you just have to somehow survive in a growing pile of trash and gore until either every pawn goes insane or you somehow reach the endgame

The way I found to fix the vehicle convoys is to not have anyone in the vehicles when you use the map vehicle convoy button. They then go to their respective vehicles and do they thang
The pipeworks mod is great, super compatible with the vehicles and carryalls mods.

I didn’t really think he vehicles were that OP, large fuel consumption, so many recourses to make and if it’s damaged it takes forever to repair everybody makes killboxes anyways these vehicles make the game so much more open and interesting because caravans can actually mean something

You should play Rimworld but everyone bleeds bullets and has a tail made of pistols and all the rocks explode when you mine them and the threst scale is 500% and it's in EXTREME desert and on the sea ice too.

(Basically you got no muscles to carry even a revolver or pistol)

Try playing with the Mythic xenotypes mod with only a dragon man to start with. They need to eat gold and/or silver to survive and it's way harder than it sounds.
I think with the advent of vehicles it'd be cool to do a Nomad group. Nomad Ranchers, Nomad Deserters, roving bands of cannibals, all that
as a reminder, there is no true such thing as a "good dog." they are all bastards who'll bite your legs and leave you with the bruise for half a year.
