Good luck for the freedom 500👍
dont do that withflame and can. if flame travels into can kaboom like big boom hand taken off

When I built my bike, I brought it into the dining room to do all the wiring late at night. Bike runs still have it, but the landlord didn’t appreciate the kickstand mark on the linoleum. 😅
Dude this is like the 3rd or 4th time I've sat down to eat and you guys upload simultaneously. THANK YOU UNIVERSE FOR ORDAINING THESE EVENTS AS SUCH.
This is our plan!
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo The plans of a Mad Scientist type and his "Uninsurable" Apprentice!... Sign me up!
Same here mate. It’s becoming my Friday tradition
What's the other channel you guys are talking about?
Might be a sign
Grind hard is the only channel I watch the whole video without getting bored even the 50 minute ones!
So happy to hear it!
Sorry but cleetus got my vote for that one!!!
@@GrindHardPlumbingComay i know who the celebrity was for the start of this?
only thing i would change is music a bit just weird sounding stuff
@@overbuiltautomotive1299 Idk, I like it. Upbeat enough to keep it exciting, but not overbearing.
Angry metal music the entire time would be far too attention grabbing, which would tank viewer % imo.
Like two shades of blue work together, but blue and orange also work.
Your Grind Hard Plumbing sticker on my truck, has sparked some of the most engaging conversations, with complete strangers, that I could ever imagine! Just keep on being YOU! We luv you guys! ! ! ! ! ! !
Fun Fact: decimated does literally mean a tenth. It comes from a term used by the Romans, where they would punish a Legion by killing every tenth man.
so it means a tenth
Or does it mean 9 tenths? /s
That's supposed to be common knowledge, not a 'fun fact'
@@KilaKrumpira you must be fun at parties
So you got two bad haircuts back to back lol
Absolutely have loved the ingenuity of this build, the creative mad mind all shown in just this one build alone
I really hope you add more clearance on that rear fender. If that tire expands AT ALL, one of the tread lugs will catch that small tip and wad the whole thing up... right into your back. Please be safe!
Those tires are made for a 8k lb truck to go 80 mph they aren't going to balloon like that
C'mon, safety is their middle name! 🤣
What makes you think they are going to be able to ride it it is going to be garage art at best
That worries me as well
This is one of the few channels that I can sit down and watch a video from beginning to end. Normally my ADD takes over and I skip to the end or skip right to the main part, but not here. Thank you gentlemen, keep up the good work!
Same. I almost never manage to watch a full video without skipping around, but I do w/Grind Hard.
I think it's because the editor perhaps has ADD too, so the video ends up being high interest quick cuts, but still informative. 😂
I'm reading the comments while the video plays but it's still good
must be THAT🥰MUSIC !
Love all your builds!!! One concern is that rear fender will start eating into your tire. That tire is going to start growing especially in the middle. You will need more clearance. It wouldn’t surprise me if it grows at least by an inch+ in diameter at like 50mph. I have seen this happen on very stiff motorcycle tires with no sidewall. The tires you have have plenty of room to grow inches at speed.😅 if you’ve already covered this another video disregard. But considering the cost of those tires, you better make sure you test how they’re going to grow first.
Self clearancing also those tires are made for a 8k lb truck to go 80mph they should be just fine
That moment when road materials get stuck in between fender and rear tire 😮😮 !! Seen it live on the highway with similar set up on fat tire chopper
Yeah. That fender is distracting me the whole time. Even if the tires don't change diameter, a bit of mud or dirt being picked up is going to cause havoc, starting with that arrow tip shape to the fender....
Lol they don't think that far ahead.😂
best part about Grind Hard videos is looking for future projects in the background.
Yeah I can't wait to see the drift quad
im the opposite, i dont understand why they work so hard for a mediocre result but i do love the result either way
I have been following this build from the start cant wait for it so be finished this is defiantly the most premium biuld yet.
Same ! So excited to see it in action
Every time I see a Grind Hard thumbnail with the demon eater in it I get a little excited until I realize it’s not the first-start or first-drive vid and then I’m like OMG COME AWN YOU GUYS… 😅😂
It definitely defies all odds. 😅
Definitely *

Best boot ad ever!😂 that company is lucky to have y’all to advertise for them. Awesome to see the monster chopper running! Cant wait to see it hit the road
too bad their boots chinese made garbage. they spend all their money on advertisements instead of making a quality boot
Your Fab work is always amazing. Only critique is that rear fender is going to end up rolled under itself when a rock gets caught between it and the tire. If you don’t add a gap, it will do it itself with a spectacular sound.
I’ve always loved your hair Ethan crazy or not it adds to the mad scientist thing you got going on. You guys are awesome!
no, hes not in a boyband.
I'm propably alone in this but I wish the front wheel mount was right to give the frame an s shape.
still the coolest, most badass bike on youtube.
That'd look good from the top and add some level of symmetry, but I reckon the way Ethan's done it looks premium and gives both sides a very different aesthetic
Its because the bought right hand wheels
@@Big.Rik_they had 4. And it's tires that are directional for the most part. There are directional wheels but fairly uncommon
@@Big.Rik_ loooooool
They wanted It to look like it was floating on one side, and if looked from the top that it was defying physics since the WHOLE frame was on the right (so it looks like it's meant to fall over but isn't.
I'm a retired electrician and I'm consistently blown away by Ethans abilities. I'm thinkin it might be the boots. Thank you gentlemen.
That rust color on there looks really cool. Im not sure what the plans for painting are, but I think a brushed brass color on the tubing and clear coated bare metal fenders would look really cool
Unfortunately it's a monster chopper but showroom build. It's definitely gonna be off roaded a ton but the paint color will most likely be silver to keep with the look.
Lol I still wanna know who the cancled celebraty is
Tina Turner!
Kanye
Danny Masterson? Ethans evil twin?
I’m guessing Kanye
@@VapenBake maybe, thats who I was thinking
Dam, have it already been 7 months?!?!?! Wow, time flies by. Awesome project. I hobe all the time and money spent will be all worth it at last. As you say in Danish "hæld og lykke!".
The key transponder chip has to be the correct and same distance it would be when the key is in the ignition or it throws the ECU up and won’t charge
Some allow for some differences in location, my Honda would read the chip if it was taped to the column next to the cylinder, had to do that until I could program a new key.
All I can think of when looking at this is .... That rear fender ..when the rear tire inevitably bites into it... will be intense. =0 Killer build !
I am unreasonably excited to see this thing going!
I love how intricate this whole build is and the fact that you are able to deconstruct the key to re-engineer your own system is absolutely amazing. Outstanding job kudos.
this bike better be EVERYTHING when its done lol.. I HAVE NEVER been so invested in another youtube project.. This bike has been a journey for sure.
That first "BRRRAAAAPPP BRRRRAAAP" and in my mind I can already imagine the episode where this baby is churning dirt...
I’m the only locksmith in my area who repairs car/motorcycle keys to save my customers money rather than charging them £150 plus for a new key, but some can’t be saved and a new one has to be cut and coded, Audi keys are far best the strongest.
I can not begin to stress how impressive yall are. It’s actually ridiculous. Driven, ambitious, creative, motivated, yall have it all. Love this page, love yalls content, and I love yall for giving me cool ideas. Without a doubt in my mind, you have inspired a whole generation of future mechanics and engineers. One of my favorite TH-camrs.
Im so happy to see this coming along, I i think this has probably been my favorite project to watch yall work on. Keep up the amazing work!
Dude this is so cool. I've been following the build since it was just a literal couple of wheels and it's so surreal to finally hear it roar. Can't wait to see the first test drive, it's gonna be so sick!
That rear fender is way too close to the wheel. A tiny pebble will cause trouble!
Could you imagine this beast at Sturgis? Just to see the look on peoples faces would be preeemium! 😂 Awesome job guys!
Man I'm a single dad of two teenage boys. I'm a CNC machine operator and I love my job but yous make me look like my first day on the job. I would love to spend a few hours picking your brain and hopefully ride some of our awesome toys...I wish I could do 10% of what yous can do...amazing guys...I live in the Poconos PA, great riding trails..
The track playing around the 7-8 minutes segment is one of my favorites to use as well :)
Really curious who was the celebrity they were talking about??
"...one of the most satisfying things I've ever done." (Sitting next to a fuel tank that doubles as a seat, that doubles as an air filter box, that he hammered out himself) 😌 this build is changing my mind about 2 wheelers.
Just want to say hello from Michael Abrego n family from Brainerd Minnesota! We freaking love watching Grind Hard! Keep up the awesome work!! Monster Chopper build is sick!!!
Sir it is 2:54 am on Sunday 1 week after this was posted. I don’t see a video of the test drive anywhere
I already love the new intro with papa flipping the grinder
Who were the other 2 in the intro?
@@nathanbailey7571 it is just a clip from the video where they where building the concept car, the other two are their friends from cruicible coachworks.
Scared the cameraman when it first kicked off.
A Hall Effect sensor and a Hall-elujah. 😄
Just want to say that the cinematography and production value of your videos continues to get better. Like the music as well.
Where's this weeks video of it's first drive? 👀
Good luck on the race today.
Thanks man!
Amazing … I’m in the process of building a custom Ktm myself (SMT 990)… this is next level though! As this seems to be slow to tip over perhaps a (pneumatic?) emergency pair of pop out kickstands with a (cover-protected) handlebar mounted push button might save a bit of future heartache (although the dry sump on the Ktm makes tip-over far more uneventful). Also, when watching the gas tank build, I couldn’t stop thinking about the flush mounted pop-up / push-down gas caps so prevalent in the custom cruiser build market… would eliminate the “snout” sticking up from the top of the tank. Amazing Build 👏🏻, cannot wait to see the final result… steel trellis frame is very fitting for a KTM build. Thank you for including your mistakes as well as your triumphs! Bravo gentleman, Bravo!
When i heard that roar, i felt it in my heart. It is really a beauty! Well done. I look forward to see when you can take a cruise on it 🤩
which "celebrity" was it??
Kanye, but idk what they mean by canceled. Is grind hard woke?
@@SBS_AutoIt’s not a matter of being woke or not. Kanye has lost his marbles. And it would not be good for anyone to associate with him.
The build was canceled, not him
@dirtmatt they said "a very canceled celebrity", its been in previous episodes as well.
@Dr904 in what way, what was he "canceled" for?
And only the left cares about "canceling".
Canceling means someone went too far away from the globalist narrative.
Probably the only TH-camrs I watch that wear proper work boots good job guys taking care of your toes
This one of a kind contraption mc. Would be the right size for someone like Shaquille O'Neal. He needs to ride this bike.
Who was the celeb?
'Ye
The bad indian from last of the Mohicans .
@@RubinsRacing350 what did he do?
You gonna learn today!
@@RubinsRacing350 you'll have to elaborate
As i said on a previous video you made the rear sprocket carrier wrong so now the chain goes loose --> tight --> loose --> tight --> loose --> tight --> loose as it spins
Throw, throw, throw your chain
Ridin’ in the rain
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is just pure pain.
That chain is way too small and will break so easy
@@midbc1midbc199 that chain doesn’t just need a guide, it needs a Sherpa
This thing could probably use a Harley differential chain.
from experience I would recommend a vacuum bleeder for the dual caliper brakes.
something as simple as a water bottle and a clear hose can work, a mighty vac will be much faster and easier.
I love seeing people do the thing they love, he is in love with this project and you can tell from the quality of this build! so excited to see what's next.❤
ETHAN READ THIS PLEASE If that back tire expands at all in radius it might send that sharp looking finder into your back! Just a bit worried for you guys and trying to look out. Sorry if this is wrong and I'm overreacting...
Do you think its a drag car or something ?
@@jeff_d1what’s with the attitude? He’s just expressing his concern
@@Jackapotomus nah fr tho, does he think it's a drag car?
@@Jackapotomus pointless concern. Do you have any idea of the force needed to expand that you're? It ain't happening.
@@u1esI couldn’t care less what the chances are of the tire expanding. The attitude is unnecessary and he should be able to comment something with good intent and real concern without it.
Edwin is killing it with the music. Great freaking work.
This is the coolest build out there! Have been watching from the start, nice work lads keep up the good work 🎉
Thanks! Will do!
You guys need to do giveaways of your builds. It breaks my heart to see senderella just rotting away. I would buy so much merch for a chance to win a build!
Hi Grind hard, I'm a Mechanical Engineer and I meant to comment this on some earlier videos, but I must comment now your steering system. While well made by yall, the Monster Chopper is un-steerable. What I mean by that is your steering axis is up 90 deg plumb, which means the bike does not lean at all. Every single turn will end up with the bike flopping over on the outside of the turn. All other standard bikes have their steering axis tilted something like 20-30 deg slightly toward the back wheel. That way, the entire bike leans into the direction of the turn and stops turnover. Take a look any standard bike's steering to see what I mean. I hope you guys see this soon before you take it somewhere for a real test. Although, if you do take it out, I'm sure you'll figure out quick that you can't steer it's current state.
Otherwise, the Monster Chopper's looking great! That huge engine is something special. I agree with Ethan that fuel injection is good. It's harder to wire up, but much easier to maintain and will always perform as expected. The raw key housing would have looked cool imo. It would fit right in with all the exposed metal.
For those wondering if you dont have a tool to unpin those connectors I always do it with a very tiny flathead screwdriver, bend the pin back in the connector, slide it out and bend it back out and it will click in.
You guys have been an inspiration to get out in the garage and build something! Currently im wrapping up a reverse three wheeler project as my first "real" build, thanks for the inspiration! And the lose bolt willy check at the end is always a must when working on something 😅 love you guys keep up the amazing builds!❤
This is all I look forward to when I have down time from driving truck watching your videos!!! Absolutely PREMIUM!
Right on!
I’ve watched this whole build good to see it finally run!!
I’ve been watching yalls videos for a long time, but I think this is by far the best build y’all I’ve ever done! Keep it up y’all will go far in this industry!
Everything about this channel just works..cool guys..cool shop in a cool place..awesome filming and music ..heck even the commercials are fun!
I'm just about to the same step on my Corvairius project, the Prius harness is in the corvair with the drivetrain, and I need to strip down the prius harnesses and delete everything I won't need like the airbag computer and wiring and see what I can delete and still keep it running. Y'all have been a good resource for this process! 8:02
Ive been getting so anxious waiting for this thing to kick over for the first time good work guys.
STICKY TAPE WORK AROUND! keep a spray bottle with a mix of rubbing alcohol and water. 70% Isopropyl alcohol mixed with a half bottle of water should do it. You might want to play with the ratios to get a mix that cleans off the sticky from your fingers and both drys fast enough and doesn't dry out your hands.
The main build is great, but Will casually setting fire to things in the background of Edwin's sponsored segment was brilliant.
For cutting apart wiring harnesses a great tool to use for getting the wrap off is a seam ripper, they sell them anywhere in the sewing section. I use one all the time!
this channel has grown so much ...such great content and everyone is so true to themselves ....keep it up guys
I suggest to turn up the end of the back fender to match the line of the seat.
Or alternatively shape it to match and use it to mount the or a rear light cluster.
Awesome stuff man! Be careful that ignition can be a immobilizer and will read a chip in the key . It might start without the original ignition but possibly depending on the safety parameters it might die when it goes in gear. Fully test it before you fully delete it. Ideally a ECU retune is what you want. Would also be a good time to retune it for your massive tires/wheels as well.
I cant say enough just how much i truly love this build. Its so sick. However i might have a slight concern for if the back tire gets a big rock stuck in the tread and brings it up around to that beautiful rear fender. Hopefully, if that happens, it doesn't mangle up the fender sense the clearance is so minimal between the tire and fender.
"JAZZ IN THE PRESENT TENSE"!. KILLER FLOW. 👏👏👏
Nooooooooooo! Tease us like that, its sooooooo cooooold. We want to see it ride now lol. You guys are so amazingly talented, Ethan is an amazing builder he NEVER ceases to amaze with the caliber if his abilities. Keep being kickass guys. Love your crew guys, you are all very well rounded men, with very likeable characters. Thanks for the thrills, and spills.
That engine and pipe choice are perfect! One hundred percent the sound I expected/wanted this thing to make
I like the heat shrink solder connectors for tight spaces. You can use a heat gun to securely connect wires where you can’t get crimpers. And solder is preferable.
This has been one of my favorite projects you guys have built! Along with the mini monster, simply because my step dad started the mini monster build here in tacoma wa.
That bike is sick. Your talent blows me away everytime.
i have been following this build since the first upload and it is insane what kinda work you guys do. Thank you for the entertainment and i cant wait to see you guys rip this monster!
ive watched every video of this build absolutely cant wait to see the finished product
This chopper is the straight from the imagination of a child. Bravissimo.
"I don't need my lights to go through a computer." That statement hit me hard. A common thing to go wrong on my bike is the headlight relay.
I’ve been looking forward to this moment! What an amazing machine! Also, best of luck in the Freedom 500 race tonight. I’ll be watching on PPV!
Smooth jazz was a fine touch;)
The resemblance of brakes is better than nothing . LOL
Just came from watching the Freedom 500. Grind hard represented well, especially for y’all’s first time! Hope to see y’all back again. Loved it!
Y’all are killing it btw!!
Badass build, I've been waiting to hear it run, sounds great and looks great
WHAT A RIIPPER!! You have outdone yourself yet again
It crazy how far you guys come
😊😊
Tbh giveaway one of the builds would be a big hit. Plus it would allow for a rotation of new builds/content for the channel.
For my custom bikes, I just wrap the key with fine copper wire and solder it directly to the box, so the ring is not needed.
BTW: Freakin' project :) !
Genius :D
Loving the slow motion shot in the intro of Ethan flipping the grinder.
Great content as always.
Best feeling ever when you 1st fire up your projects ❤💯
This is the greatest build series on TH-cam ever, I look forward to Grind Hard's future displays of genius.
11:47 you get to hear Ethan's calmest voice and then Ethan's REGULAR TALKING VOICE!!!!
Will looked so proud of himself at the end of that ad plug🤣🤣🤣
Ready to see it move! cant wait for next Friday!!!
You really had me going when you had the epiphany that the immobilizer was in the ignition switch and didn't effect the ECU. I thought you were going to lop it off, figure out what of the six wires needed to connect together and completely delete the ignition switch altogether. Which will work just fine.
Instead you completely reengineered the whole thing in a fit of genius and made it work in the most complex manner that could have been thought of. And I do mean genius and epic problem solving. I do recommend getting rid of that immobilizer switch though. It's going to give you headaches in the future.
Absolutely love the build and can't wait for next Friday when we get to see it run.
4:55 By just by the sound, I can tell that's MIGHTY powerful!! May destroy a record on your track you guys made!!!
