@@jd2161 its actually much more difficult. Bolt has a completely different infrastructure that is hard to setup up Stripe with. Have you set it up yourself in Bolt?
Bro nooo don’t let the secret out!! Hah I switched to Lovable too. It passed a lot of the blockers I was encountering with bolt when building my app. Although there are a lot of things I still like about bolt but overall I’m feeling lovable a lot more
But the question is does it set up everything else for you? Lovable sets up the edge functions so you do not have to, not only creates the Supabase connection
@@Sebastian-p4kthat’s the same problem I had too. Apparently they’re launching their Supabase integration soon which will pretty much be what Lovable does now. What bolt has going for it vs lovable is its ability to deploy into production and customize a URL. It’s still doable with lovable but just have to jump through a couple hoops
Amazing content as always Brock, just tried out both and just amazed on how technology is moving. Btw, would like to know which platform are you using currently for recordings both tabs and yourself?
Let me know what you think. I really do think the ease of backend integrations is a game changer for us non technical people. IDEK what an edge function is but the fact that it sets it up for me to handle data is amazing!
@ just tried it and in 30 min I was able to do exactly what you did now I’m playing with the interface to have a nicer look, I actually prefer this to bolt😅
a friend of mine built a dating app with an algorithm using Bolt.new. So you definitely could build something like that with Lovable. However it would not be exactly easy
Ive seen other TH-camrs demo Loveable and Everytime it struggled to do basic prompts. I like the integrations, but it still has a long way to go. But i guess since this is all relatively new tech, that's to be expected.
This is good to know. I personally haven't had any big issues that I wouldn't experience with Bolt. I just Love that ease of integration which is a selling point for me. Will be interesting to see when Bolt can implement this
@BrockMesarich just a calendar and a note system to different users. And mess thing up all the time. No by far its not ready. Way to many errors. Bolt or this same crap. Uses all my credits. Fist built things then mess things up. Fixed them and other things are broken again. Done with these tools

That's exactly my problem with bolt. Super quick to build nice frontend but I constantly get errors after connecting bolt with supabase
