The sad thing is, I live in Texas but the good news, I travel to south la about once a week for a couple days during the fall of the year flounder fishing and love it down there. It just becomes second nature after a while. You just have to learn land marks and specific trees to help you navigate.

I bet you could grow vegetables year round there and let the fish alone to live and die on their time. Potatoes, corn, beans, pumkins, cabbage, wheat, sweet potatoes, well you get the idea, I could go on and on. You'd be much healthier for it too and everybody benefits.

Hello! In southern Louisiana, most of the land is below sea level. So when it rains the water has no where to go therefore flooding when it rains.
Sh$t….. I’m eating some fresh trout I caught yesterday in Cocodrie… people not from here don’t understand, I’m 48 and everytime I want seafood I harvest it wild. I have never bought a fish out of a store. I just started buying shrimp from the shrimp lot,…. If I’m running low on fish in the freezer I go fishing not to the store. Y’all know what it is
