As a teacher and a parent, I was moved by this line. I actually came across this song because one of my students wrote about it for a memoir assignment. I added it to my playlist, and I hope to reflect and let it shape my approach both with students and my own kids. Thanks for pointing it out.

But yeah true, these are topics that we usually opt not to discuss with kids. Sometimes, we just dont want them to experience the same pain we felt when we were starting. Hey, to help understand the meaning of the lyrics 'in seoul', I want to say that in Korea many highschool students are getting pressed because they have to go to the university which is located "in seoul". Major universities in Korea that all of the students want to go are in seoul. And many parents talk to their children 'AT LEAST YOU HAVE TO "IN SEOUL" (Please understand my poor English.) + to the 'SKY': The term 'SKY' is a combination of Seoul National University, Yonsei University and Korea University, which are the three most difficult universities to enter in Korea.

Yeah u pretty much described my life : my dad wants me to be a doctor but I want to be a writer and here in India taking arts is like bringing shame to the family or something because there’s this stereotype that only dumb kids take arts. Since I said no to doctor my parents made me choose engineering and told very clearly they will not pay for any other education. My sister tells me to try and understand their pov that they only want me to be successful and everyone tells me to put my dream writing career until after I secure a corporate job in an office but honestly none of that makes me as happy and content as arts. And the fact that my sis is a doctor is only more pressure to me . Note to self: when you become a parent, be supportive of your child’s dream 💙

These lyrics are so deep and literal facts. I feel it cause I've been a topper in my class since 7th grade. I'm not bragging in any way cause it was just my dream to do good. I got so much hatred and criticism from almost everyone in my class cause they felt that i didn't deserve to get good grades and even accused me of cheating since I didn't get as much marks in the earlier grades. I have been battling with depression since then. This song really helps me to get strength but i just want someone whom I can share with everything. All the sleepless nights, months spent listening to all the insults thrown at me, pressure of doing the best yet fear of not making it

If you ask about my country's(Greece) educational system: Bad … Really bad . The first school years are all the same for all countries kids learn to write and read and count each grade is 1 year Dimotiko our first bracket for 6 till 12 year olds has 6 grades on the last grades they learn history ! and mathematical equations ! The there is the gymnasium it has three grades and is the second bracket nothing of particular interest happens … it's for 12 till 15 year olds … Studies include mathematics , Greek ancient history , Byzantine history , etc Now everything derails from reality and logic in high school (lykeio) … The infamous and notorious Panhellenic exams take place the last year of high school and the kids prepare since the first grade of high school till the last cause if they don't there are no private universities in Greece so if you want to study in higher education it's absolutely necessary to pass the exams … The exams are "stupidly" difficult they are so difficult that school isn't adequate to teach at such a level !!!!!!!!! So an "after school" is required and of course it must be paid. Its supplementary private tutorship to be exact because school isn't good enough to teach for its own exams !!!!!!! Fun part you need that private tutorship if you want to have a chance of passing these exams ! And even with these there is a high chance you would fail … I have seen people giving Panhellenic exams for 6 even up to 10 years (1 try per year ) ! It's insane And what's more insane is the studies you must do to pass are not tied with what you will pass in the end !!!!!!! Example In order to be admitted to the University of Sociology you must score very good grades in the studies Panhellenic exams have for that bracket of universities (Sociological) 4 subjects, Ancient Greek , Ancient Latin , General written speech and History ! these a kid must study to admit on sociology … Nothing tied with sociology !!!! Yet it is determing if your are good enough to study Sociology It's DISGRACEFUL … PERIOD… And there is no alternative and because of that kids are left with emotional traumas even attempts of suicide in the face of rejection from universities I my self 20 years old failed in these exams 2 years ago and still haunts me in my sleep and the society thinks of you as a failure that works for minimum wage … And yes I will try again till my last breath ! To be admitted or I will work for the minimum wage and that's is a nightmare that is going to happen in real life and not in my mind.

Jin who was casted just because of his looks, Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to be, Namjoon who was never been supported by his parents, Jimin who thought himself as ugly and fat, Taehyung whose always been part of BTS but was never showed in any promotions- not until debut, Hoseok who seemed to always laugh but never felt as an accomplishment to his father and Jungkook who was very shy and have saved his parents at a young age by auditioning to companies. Remember the days when they were struggling? They even had to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat? They were squeezing themselves into one small apartment and had to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the song ‘move’ Those times when Jimin has to starve himself just because people call him fat and ugly. That one interview where Yoongi said that; it was nice that people listen to their music because Taehyung and Jungkook are good looking. And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung the rapper, but he chose to rap instead and learn it because Taehyung wanted to be the vocalist. It was Taehyungs dream and Hoseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice. Other fanbases were accusing them for plagiarism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with other big Kpop groups which was actually just a coincidence. There was a time when Yoongi packed 300 gifts and Letters just to give to their 300 fans who will attend at their mini fan meetings. So why do people judge them so fastly? Did you know that Jimin came all the way to Seoul from Busan just to persuade his dreams? Did you know that Taehyung lived with his grandma for almost half of his life making him innocent from what else is out there in our world? Did you know that Jungkook set aside his embarrassment just to meet the others expectations? Yes, he is the Golden maknae, but he suffers too when he sees his hyungs having a hard time, he cries. And there was a time when Jimin caught him crying and the reason was because he missed his family. Jungkook often cries secretly so that his hyungs wouldn’t worry. Did you know that Jin auditioned to make his mother proud of him and so that his mother had something to brag off to those judgmental neighbors they had. He worked hard on his vocals yet people called him talentless. Did you know that Namjoon worked hard just to produce songs yet there was a time when his mother ruined his computer and broke his mike so he could focus on studying? Did you know Hoseok auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him? Because he felt he was a disappointment? Those rookie days where they only listened to the awardings and be amazed by their seniors. They couldn’t do anything but watch those idols who received the awards. They were contented. And now they reached the top and became more successful. From 150 fans to 6mil and counting, From a small practice room to a bigger one From a cramped dorm with roommates to a big dorm were they each a room, From one daesang award to more awards and they’ve even won on BBMA’s. BTS never expected this before their fourth year anniversary, they’ve com so far- so far that the only chance we have to see them is to go to their concert (NEVER) meet them along the street with 0.01% chance. This is the first time i've read the lyrics after listening to this song more than a 100 times. It made me cry, cause this is exactly how i feel throughout my life
This song is like,when your parents wants us to be perfect by getting in first place,achieve the DOCTOR job,eventhough we want arts,dance,or music etc.,and thats why we fail then when we fail they(parents) get mad at us saying that we are such a dissapointment then we stood up and follow our dream instead

Yeah u pretty much described my life : my dad wants me to be a doctor but I want to be a writer and here in India taking arts is like bringing shame to the family or something because there’s this stereotype that only dumb kids take arts. Since I said no to doctor my parents made me choose engineering and told very clearly they will not pay for any other education. My sister tells me to try and understand their pov that they only want me to be successful and everyone tells me to put my dream writing career until after I secure a corporate job in an office but honestly none of that makes me as happy and content as arts. And the fact that my sis is a doctor is only more pressure to me .
Note to self: when you become a parent, be supportive of your child’s dream 💙

These lyrics are so deep and literal facts. I feel it cause I've been a topper in my class since 7th grade. I'm not bragging in any way cause it was just my dream to do good. I got so much hatred and criticism from almost everyone in my class cause they felt that i didn't deserve to get good grades and even accused me of cheating since I didn't get as much marks in the earlier grades. I have been battling with depression since then. This song really helps me to get strength but i just want someone whom I can share with everything. All the sleepless nights, months spent listening to all the insults thrown at me, pressure of doing the best yet fear of not making it

우리나라는 아직까진 기회의 땅임. 비전이 있고 목표가 있다면 누구든지 성공가능해. 단지 공부만이 다는 아니라는거지 하지만 그러한 기회를 잡기위해서는 단순히 학교에서 배우는 커리큘럼 말고도 다른 방면의 공부를 해야할 필요가 있음 단순히 '너무 힘들어서 그만하고 놀고싶다'가 다는 아니라는 거지... 우리나라의 문제는 사회 정책과 기회가 없다는 것이 아님. 다만 아직까지 부족한 다양한 가능성에 대한 포용력과 인정이 사회적으로 부족하다것임 그렇기에 기회를 못잡는거고. 공부가 어려운건 단순히 변별력을 기르기 위함이고 진로에 대한 일획화된 길을 벗어나지 않는 우리사회의 모두와 그걸 강요하는 일획화된 사람들이지.

If you ask about my country's(Greece) educational system:
Bad … Really bad .
The first school years are all the same for all countries kids learn to write and read and count each grade is 1 year
Dimotiko our first bracket for 6 till 12 year olds has 6 grades on the last grades they learn history ! and mathematical equations !
The there is the gymnasium it has three grades and is the second bracket nothing of particular interest happens … it's for 12 till 15 year olds … Studies include mathematics , Greek ancient history , Byzantine history , etc
Now everything derails from reality and logic in high school (lykeio) …
The infamous and notorious Panhellenic exams take place the last year of high school and the kids prepare since the first grade of high school till the last cause if they don't there are no private universities in Greece so if you want to study in higher education it's absolutely necessary to pass the exams …
The exams are "stupidly" difficult they are so difficult that school isn't adequate to teach at such a level !!!!!!!!!
So an "after school" is required and of course it must be paid.
Its supplementary private tutorship to be exact because school isn't good enough to teach for its own exams !!!!!!!
Fun part you need that private tutorship if you want to have a chance of passing these exams ! And even with these there is a high chance you would fail …
I have seen people giving Panhellenic exams for 6 even up to 10 years (1 try per year ) ! It's insane
And what's more insane is the studies you must do to pass are not tied with what you will pass in the end !!!!!!!
Example
In order to be admitted to the University of Sociology you must score very good grades in the studies Panhellenic exams have for that bracket of universities (Sociological)
4 subjects, Ancient Greek , Ancient Latin , General written speech and History ! these a kid must study to admit on sociology … Nothing tied with sociology !!!! Yet it is determing if your are good enough to study Sociology
It's DISGRACEFUL … PERIOD…
And there is no alternative and because of that kids are left with emotional traumas even attempts of suicide in the face of rejection from universities
I my self 20 years old failed in these exams 2 years ago and still haunts me in my sleep and the society thinks of you as a failure that works for minimum wage … And yes I will try again till my last breath ! To be admitted or I will work for the minimum wage and that's is a nightmare that is going to happen in real life and not in my mind.

Listen to your mind, do whatever makes you happy, it's sad how adults feel like controlling your future. BTS came from a small company, they started with nothing.
Jin who was casted just because of his looks, Suga who left his family and gambled his education just to do what he really wanted to be,
Namjoon who was never been supported by his parents,
Jimin who thought himself as ugly and fat,
Taehyung whose always been part of BTS but was never showed in any promotions- not until debut,
Hoseok who seemed to always laugh but never felt as an accomplishment to his father and Jungkook who was very shy and have saved his parents at a young age by auditioning to companies.
Remember the days when they were struggling?
They even had to sacrifice and work hard just so they could eat?
They were squeezing themselves into one small apartment and had to take responsibilities- the reason why they wrote the song ‘move’
Those times when Jimin has to starve himself just because people call him fat and ugly.
That one interview where Yoongi said that; it was nice that people listen to their music because Taehyung and Jungkook are good looking.
And he thought that it was at least enough. Do you remember when Hoseok was supposed to be the vocalist and Taehyung the rapper, but he chose to rap instead and learn it because Taehyung wanted to be the vocalist.
It was Taehyungs dream and Hoseok loves his dongsaeng that much he would sacrifice.
Other fanbases were accusing them for plagiarism just because they had the smallest detail whose the same with other big Kpop groups which was actually just a coincidence.
