I am so sorry to hear you didn't like iron flame!! I feel so bad for people in the fandom, there is nothing worse than an anticipated read being meh...😑 I have been there...Personally, the fourth wing series is "just" OK for me, I enjoyed both the first and this second book but I feel no special connection...I hope she will slow down publishing the upcoming books in the series and increase the quality. 🤗
I have heard that the font in Iron Flame is 1/2 the size if not smaller than the font of Fourth Wing. I really would like to read Fourth Wing but I am a bit weary about the political sense of Iron Flame and alot of people, exactly like you, have reacted negatively to that. And yes if there is miscommunication…. Nobody likes that😅 I am worried and hesitant to read the 2nd book…
I am also hesitant about reading the Chestnut Springs series because it doesn’t sound like the typical book I’d read/enjoy😅 But I guess I’d give it a shot🤷♀️
But Yes I’ve heard nothing but great things about Love & Other Things, it’s been on my TBR list for a while so I’ll definitely try and get it soon😊
