No Ward was on a completely different level. Broke his backhand in the first couple of rounds and still dominant. The more skilled boxer, quicker hands, very durable and also out roughed Carl too. Was gutted but credit where its due.

I saw Eddie a few weeks after the Bute fight in Belfast. Absolute gentleman. Stood and had a chat for about ten minutes when he could have just told me where to go.
The Froch vs Bute fight was absolutely amazing! I loved every second of it. What a glorious win for Froch after many pundits were writing him off!! Like they said, if there's anyone who hasn't yet watched that fight, i highly recommend it.
I met Froch years ago in Hamburg for the Haye fight as were staying in the same hotel. He was with Rachel and they had time for everyone. As genuine as they come!
If you listened well to Froch in this interview you can see deep down he actually really cares about AJ. He’s acting like an annoyed older brother whose younger brother is better than him at everything but he feels like his younger brother is not doing as much as he should be. That’s actually the problem with most AJ critics, they all just want to see more from him which is unfair at times because it means they never appreciate his hardwork and good performances because they always expect better
