Crazy reading this today when Stan 70K just got sentenced. The 70K crew were an insanely prolific crew in Melbourne in the early 2000s. Painted well over 1000 trains and just generally went all city on EVERYTHING. It is impossible to overstate how active they were. Stan got raided and then left the country in 2008. And today, some cop is bragging that he renewed the border notice for him every 3 months for years. And regularly made visits to his family. FOR 18 YEARS. Then, when Stan returned in 2022 to visit his dying Grandma, he was arrested and charged. In and out of court for the last 2 years, all to finally be sentanced today for, get ready, the HUGE punishment of.....a $37,000 fine AUD, 300 hours community service, and a 2 year good behavior bond. What a fucking waste of police time and resources. Cops can be fucking psychos in Australia.
Coming from the Australian graffiti scene myself, these mofos throw the book at painters mostly.. it’s mostly the private train companies that are bothered to go to full lengths😂
Australia is damn expensive and I need a visa for that country as a east European so I can't be bothered traveling there, anyway I wouldn't waste time and money painting passengers or subways, they get buffed, you only end up with photos or videos and the police investigates it a lot. I'd rather paint freights, tracksides and some bombing.
@@genesis2187 I just did a small comparison between salaries and real estate and other prices on Numbeo, I compared Prague with Melbourne and Prague is more expensive, although the salaries in Prague are 50% of what they are in Melbourne, same result when I compare Bratislava to Perth, when I compare Budapest and Adelaide, the property/rent prices are almost the same, but salaries in Adelaide are 3x higher.

Australia has shown that they're very good at catching people painting trains, and anyone who's traveling there to paint trains is a ret@ard. Lol. Like, truly.
