Great video, guys. The only thing i think that i could add was that skidoo added a 4th motor mount for less vibration throughout the front end and cockpit of the machine. Look forward to more snowmobile videos soon
Nope, 2018 was the 1st 850 XRS. You could get an ‘X’ not an XRS. For MY17 you could order an XRS however it was a rev-xs with an 800etec, the G4 was initially only X and in 18 the XRS was released, with a 2018.5 release of the 600R (although not explicitly called XRS, featured all the premiums of the 18’ XRS). Although the 17’ X was the ‘premium’ G4 model, the biggest difference, as it usually is with Skidoos between trims, is the shocks; the 17’ X only had HPG Plus front shocks, and a Pro 36 in the rear, where as the 18’ XRS as stated had the Pro-36 up front and Pro-40s in the rear.
@dprockz15 is correct. The 850 models in 2017 were X or plain old MXZ, the XRS remained in the XS Gen3 with the 800etec, and in 2018 the released the XRS in Gen4 with the 850 in both renegade and MXZ. Even the mid season release 600r that had the XRS shock package wasn’t branded XRS in 2017.
@@IJGU88 good observation! We took them off to demonstrate kinda stock to stock how the sleds come out of the box. The curves need new carbides so gotta find a set before they go back on another sled

@@krankysledzz yes - Can’t Wait!
The knob at the bottom of the shock is rebound. The knob at the top is compression.
@@scottrocher1388 yep - I got it backwards in the moment hahah - this video needs more fact checking than a trump debate 🤣
I’d like to see a comparison between a 1969 Olympic TNT and the 2024 XRS . ☃️👍👍❤️
Ah man…no comparison, but he TNT Rocks
Great video as always Gary

@@bt71sschevelle58 cool! Were they branded the full name not the acronym? I wanna say I seen an older sled with them as well
@@mudbrats they were labeled KYB but they were probably entry level shocks it also had factory brembo brakes
