This is a VERY helpful video, but no matter what I did, nothing worked (fix is below, for anyone else struggling). The template I'm using (Nerko) doesn't let me edit the header separately, like most videos show. My logo is squished against the hamburger menu. And more issues-- any rows of images just left-justify as you scroll down... no reason for it, there's enough room for the rows to show and be centered. Any ideas? Thank you. EDIT: Fixed. Hope this helps others-- Nerko has a Customizer thing (Wordpress / Customize). There, I was able to shrink my header logo from 350px to 300px. That 50px difference made the logo beautiful, on mobile. On desktop, the logo is a tiny bit small, but it's ok. Still looks good. On mobile, it's centered, and doesn't interfere with the hamburger menu on the right. Additionally, the two sections I could not get to look good on Mobile (two rows of six small square images each).. I just went to the Elementor Advanced options, and chose HIDE while on Mobile. They weren't exactly necessary. Like most people, I prefer to visit websites..... on a laptop, a standard gaming PC, or a large tablet. The only thing mobile is good for, truly, is using apps (Reddit, TH-cam, Spotify, IG, Tiktok, etc). Absolutely not "visiting a website". Websites are made for common computer screens (widescreen layout). Absolutely not vertical ones.
Hi, Tyler. I wanted to question you that when I build a website for a customer, I design it on my laptop, and I know that according to elementor, everything is responsive, but when my client accesses the website, he has a smaller laptop screen, so the entire website looks horrible. What can I do to address this problem?

Can you also help with how to add different text and button for different sliders? I am not using Image carousel. After adding the section I have added multiple images. So now if I add any text it appears on all the images of the slides. I want to make different text and button for each slide.
my editing display, for desktop, tablet, and mobile, does not show my changes. I have to go to the live page to see how the changes take effect. Do you know how to fix this so I can see my edits in the Elementor display without having to go to the live page?
Anyone have thoughts on the video simply not showing up at all, even after adjusting it? Just happened on tablet and mobile on my site after the last Elementor patch.
Many basic properties doesnt have option to change from desktop to mobile or mobile to desktop. If you directly go to mobile version withou t properties(i mean from bottom of panel) then changes would reflect in all modes. Can you please tell if there is some way to change those
@shellbellpeoples6304 kind of....there are 2 1. Some properties have option to change for desktop or mobile like he did in this video....in the video he did for all of them but you can access that option near an element to switch from laptop to mobile and vice versa.....but in your case ig this method won't work cuz it's similar to what's shown in video.... 2. The best method ig is to make duplicate elements.....for example you want to add image and want to make it look different for both of them then duplicate the image....make 1 image for laptop and 1 image suitable for mobile and then hide the laptop image from phone and phone image from laptop......I don't exactly remember how to hide it...but you can look it up....i have tried this method and it worked perfectly
So after days and hours of frustration, i switched my browser from firefox to chrome. And bam! It now respnds to my selection of changes based on device. Thanks Tyler👍
I just set it height to 100% vm on mobile and looks good but I still get white bars when I slide to the left and right. just cant find a snug setting yet. Most sites on mobile dont have that.
How do I remove a section on mobile? for example, I just don't want to see that section on mobile. When using elementor and press hide on mobile. then I right click on the section, the code shows that it's still loading on mobile even though it's not showing. It's just hiding it, which is slowing down my site. How do I remedy that problem?
Hi Tyler, I just watched your video and am glad I did, but my issue is that there is a huge space on mobile between the logo and the top of the website page. I don't have a tablet to see if it has the same issue, but my client says most of her customers are coming through mobile and I need to fix this real soon. Thanks
Hi, Working on a homepage and have a issue: menu can't be read in responsive mode tablet or mobile. The fonts is soo tiny. I can't find a way to correct it. Do you know what I do wrong? (Wordpress, elementor Ocean WP theme).
Hi Tyler, Thanks for the step-by-step tutorial! Hello! So I recently downloaded the Elementor Beta (developer edition) and there is no longer a button for the responsive device setting. I tried deleting the plug in and reloading it but it won’t go back to the original platform. Any suggestions?
Tyler, you nailed it! Thank you for this informative video. I have been working with Elementor Pro for many years and responsive workflow is a BIG deal! Great video!
Can you take it a bit further? This was really helpful but what if I want to use different colours for words on each platform? It seems to only allow you to make changes with images and placement
Thank you, very clear, would like to see a longer version of this, perhaps showing a real design process as I'm sure there are other issues which come up them which you would help resolve.
It's very helpful! Thank you. But when I modify layout on tablet, it will affect the mobile view ( I added mobile horizontal), and I always have to readjust for the other two devices, which is triple the work. Is there a way to stop affecting the layout on mobile while I make changes on tablet?
I feel like I follow what you're saying here, but I fear I may have another issue. I think that my site logo is too large in some way. The logo doesn't seem to scale the same way the rest of the site does. Have you ever dealt with a logo not scaling type of issue?
Thank you for your video. It's very informative. I have one more concern about elementor. I hope you can help me answer this. How to set the content fixed, not changing positions when zooming? When I zoom in or out my web page, the content change positions. I've been looking for some tutorial videos about it through elementor but I couldn't find. Thanks a lot!

Hey, many thanks for your video! I hope you (or someone here) can help me with the following problem. My mobil version has way too much leeway (at the bottom I can see a bar) how can I tunr this off? Thank you :)
I have built many elementor websites, but the the one I am working on right now is displaying all to the left on mobile with a big margin on the right. It is not using the full width of the mobile screen. What is causing this?
Thank you!! Do you know if its possible to have one picture on desktop version but then have another different picture on mobile version? Or having a video on desktop, and then just a picture on mobile version (because video works well on horizontal)
Really good info! Anyway, how can disable the mobile and tablet responsive in desktop browser? Whenever I resize Safari my website always automatically change the layout and make the website looks messy.
Your videos are fabulous thank you. I'm searching your library for menu responsiveness - ie making the menu visible on desktop, tablet & phone. Now I understand why the menu doesn't work/show in tablet or phone, but am struggling where to find where to fix it.
Hi Tyler, I just want to know how can I edit only the mobile version, without messing up my desktop edits. As you know sometimes the margin we use for the desktop does not work for the mobile version.
You really didn't nail it. All promo upfront then your headline didn't really get to the more common issue of center alignment of the page not only an image. What about when there's scroll bar added to the horizontal width leaving white space on the right side of the whole moble view? You didn't even go there.
Hi Tyler! Great video, thank you for the clear explanation! My question is the following: The layout of my page has columns on the desktop version, so that I have a photo on the left and text on the right in a section, and the section below has the text on the left and the photo on the right. The problem is that when I look at it on the tablet or phone versions, it goes photo, text, text, photo, photo, text (from top to bottom). I'd like the photos and text to alternate instead. Is there a way to do this simply? Thanks!
When I move columns through a section in the navigator menu, using Elementor, in the Mobile mode, it also changes both the Tablet and Desktop modes ☹ I wanted the columns in my navigation menu to be positioned differently for the mobile version. Example: in Desktop and Tablet modes, the navigation menu columns would be like: LOGO > SEARCH BOX > MENU (same row) in Mobile mode it should be like: LOGO > MENU and the SEARCH BOX should be in the row below How do I do that using Elementor? I created a new section (actually I duplicated the other section), arranged the columns, etc, the way I wanted to and then I hid the other section view from Tablet and Desktop modes, so the new section will only show on Mobile mode.
