- Stalcraft just had one of its biggest updates ever and me and my duo had no idea just how much they were about to change! In this episode I got some amazing pvp, quested all the way from garages to the bar, got new gear crafted and then got blind sided by this update! What do you think of the new stalcraft update so far?

you may already know this but if you hold down c you gain access to a quick access wheel where you can put your metal detector for easy access. and to add weapons and items to this wheel you just need to hover over the item you want and then press whatever number you want to assign it to 1,2,3 ect
Chosing a subfaction is NOT a part of the main questline. For now you can randomly pick Duty or Freedom to briefly cooperate with and it has no bearing on who you join later. In fact, you will need a full level 7 reputation at the Bar to even be considered as a recruit and it's a long way to go.
Wow I never knew that, this was about as far as I got on my last character too and I never chose a faction cause I thought it was the BIG decision there! Thank you for that info bro!
One thing to note is that medkits clear infections, orange (personal) yellow (scientific) and guide (green) clear rads and bio, but army only clears rad
Yea I probably need to start carrying some of each never know when 2000 bio might take your life🤣
My recommendation would be to go the science suit route. Sure less armor but you can access more areas with less to worry about and if you get a backpack with some decent radiation or bio artifacts, you won’t even be affected by anything. My suit isn’t even that good but with my artifacts I can go all the way past red forest without even being touched by rads other than some serious high concentration areas. Also carry bullet resistant artifacts. Carry meds for psy areas and avoid the fire pits and you’re good to go.

You can even craft an enchantment for magasine space making it 6 in total

It kinda is but not so much in EU and NA becuase we don't have the same attachment's and let me tell you, that gun have some recoil and SA-58 is still pretty much meta.
So, if you want a really good gun por pvp that is FUN to use, go for AMB-17 maybe (Pernach is an insane pistol too).

Also i think you should get the AS val and VSS both as 1 is good for close range and 1 is good for long range

As a proud VSS-M owner I would not recommend it as a first gun. It is very nice at range, but at higher levels you will be at a disadvantage most of the time. It is a known statistic that 90% of PvP encounters in Stalcraft happen at 40 meter range or less.

@rubbertaco1 it's so useful but a lot of people seem to forget it even exists or simply don't know about it. If I recall correctly it's not really shown in the "tutorial" either. It definitely saves you the little extra crucial time when you're in the middle of a gunfight while allowing you to somewhat see what's going on in front of you on screen instead of the inventory blocking the entire view 👌

About the guns rework: there is now no "true meta", all guns are good in their specific scenarios. The fn2k tactical is still a beast on longer distances. But now it has a rival: ak-15. Ak-15 has higher damage, but lower rate of fire. If you like guns that shoot faster, barter fn. If you like guns with higher damage-per-round, choose ak
Think im probably going to end up going with the FN still then I like the faster fire rate and the more range is very appealing as ive heard DMRs are not very good! Thank you!
Don't kid yourself FN is still used by most end game players as ROF/DPS is still king

I think fn-2000 tactical is still the best for meduim to long ranges but the ak 545 is scary in close range
I keep coming back to StalCraft because there’s just no other looter shooter that matches it. It’s so underrated. If STALKER would come out with an online pvp open world game it would be an absolute blast. Until then it’s Stalcraft. I’m still at the Bar but I hear it gets rough in late game. Still a lot of good content before then so I can’t complain.

My Worn RPD is now a pink rarity weapon and now it can use optics without crafting a mouth so I'm not complaining😅

A-545 is probably one of the best all around guns still. FN tac is still good just not OP anymore, VSS-M is a beast at sniping if you can hit your headshots, AMB-17 is a monster close range, AK15 is very strong up close but has a ton of recoil so not the best past 30 meters with any consistency as the game has random recoil patterns. I am sticking with the AK15 since they took away my HK G3A1 master gun and stuck me with it but if and when they add the HK line back with a master variant I am going back to my baby. Also PKP is good but only after you get it leveled up.
Just depends on your playstyle really.

That bandit camp is annoying usually I go into gen chat if I find myself in the position of being in like forest or dark valley entrance (Im a bandit with mocking bird and akban💀💀) and just let stalkers go past ONE TIME this fuck killed me I got revenge ofc but like 💀💀

Hi! Are you on NA or EU server? Both SCAT and the other armor are good. Just depends on your playstyle
And also, if you gonna "x" other players' backpacks, pls mail them their backpacks (with barter resources) back. Btw create the menu when you hit and hold "c"

You have to give him a rare artifact and then he gives you a note. It doesnt give you a reputation so you did the right call man

man don't loot people like that, youre taking so much ammo that is useless for you and just gives you weight (and also youre taking the barter resources of that guy)
I always send people backpacks back for free! Yea I definitely dont need to take all the ammo though everytime lol
