Hi Dear, thank you so much for following my tutorials....I dont' exactly know the reason for the variation...if your satin ribbon is of the same texture and you used the same method of preparation, the roses should come out looking similar. If you look at my roses, they too are different as I used ribbons of different textures....try making the roses with a satin ribbon with thin texture and let me know :-)...Happy Crafting!!!

yes, you can...I made one with a 1 inch width ribbon and the rose was very tiny, but it was cute too. I haven't tried myself but It would be tough to make with ribbons smaller than 1 inch.

THAT'S IT! My dog, adopted from a rescue, came wearing an adorable collar with a large, light green fabric rosebud attached to it. The collar is now wearing out and I would love to have a similar collar, although a Martingale--they work so much better) with a pink rosebud on it (my current dog is a gold-colored female--a pink rosebud would be adorable on her).The rosebud is large (just shy of 2" in diameter and about 1" tall)--but I can't find a pre-made pink fabric rosebud this large for sale anywhere on line so I'm somehow going to have to make it myself. This looks llike the right way to make it.

Hi Dear, the wrapping is the same method as shown in the video, but for the open roses I used ribbons with different textures / fabric.
