Droll definitely coming back so be prepared and definitely hurts especially when paired with another hand trap like veiler or imperm. Played at a case tournament this weekend and got 4th place. And the games i loss were to droll in tandem with a couple other hand traps and removal to stop you from building your bored. My one loss was to melodious snake eyes fire king and game 2 they droll me and imperm spirit. Cyclone remove super poly. Then eschatos lock me out of fiends till the end of next turn. Shit was cracked and gross af
Eternal Favorite cannot summon back Phantom of Yubel from the grave because Phantom's first line of text says it must be special summoned from the extra deck
Could you explain the sinergy of skill drain in this deck? I think that with skill drain you can't activate the yubel effect or any others monster effect like samsara or am i wrong?
Skill Drain only negates the effects, not the activation of monster effects. Since Samsara D Lotus tributes itself for cost to summon a Yubel monster, it will resolve under Skill Drain since it will no longer be on the field. Now as for the synergy, if Nightmare Pain is face up on the field your opponent still takes the damage if they battle your Yubel monsters rather than you. Sure the Yubel monsters lose their “Cannot be destroyed in battle” effect but they can flow into the other Yubel monsters since they were destroyed.
I don't have Phantom of Yubel and I only have 1 copy of Nightmare Throne. Are there any alternative options available for me to use? P.S. I also don't have Varudras
@Manuelbacon40 if I am unable to get 2 more copies of Nightmare Throne, let alone a single Phantom of Yubel, then what other options do I have for my Yubel deck?
@@BlazerDragon19 you could dabble with a small Fire King Engine. In old Yubel decks people tried Fire King Island to set off the Yubel effects. Granted I’m not sure how consistent it would be. That’s the best advice I can give.

Maybe you can do without varudras but the throne and phantom are a must

Wait what do you mean “wrong set name”? Phantom of Yubel IS in Battles of Legend: Terminal Revenge. BLTR are just the set’s initials.
Also Phantom is short printed. There’s only 2-3 per every case
