Hi Coach ! I m inter-level player from pakistan . i want to know about which cue length and weight , must (grip butt diameter) is perfect according to player height and physical shape . you should create video tutorial about this thing . I waiting for your reply . Thank you for awesome stuff . Keep going
It depends what kind of body type you have. A general answer is to have enough follow-through a hit ball without jabbing. More exclusive answer just text me with message with that question.
A very good video explaining the basics of a good snooker grip. However, I have a request. Please do get the camera angles better ... when you focus on back of grip for example the camera is nit there .... great work coach...
not detailed enough, barry stark talks how to relax thumb and forfinger when delivering the cue, and use another finger as trigger too many grip videos on youtube but i want you to upload a detailed version if you can otherwise basic grip hand video is everywhere tnx
They seem to miss the main point yes how you hold is correct but when you apply a grip is very important .. the grip needs to be light but how much tight you do at the time of striking the ball will in the end matter . It’s a smooth motion with the tightness coming towards the end when you strike the queue ball . Ronny has explained this in his master class video go have a look at that so you hold the queue as shown but how you grip as you push through the ball is important . And that grip is only applied at that point for the rest of the action you use what is shown here to hold the queue . Many people struggle as they are trying to swing with the grip .. you swing at your elbow now with the grip .. not sure if this is making sense to you but try this the next time ur at the table ..

Explanation is pretty good but the camera work is bad. Talking about grip, the view of the video should focus on your grip from behind where we can see the opening and closing of your fingers. How your cue moves on the table, where your cameraman focuses on is not important.
what about using the last finger. waiting for your reply. thanks
It depends from person to person but it is also important fingers which help keep cue on the line.

Lenght - about shoulder height
Grip diameter - personal preference
Physical shape - for naturally bigger build slightly heavier then average is better, but this is not a rule
How far back should you grip the cue.as nobody mentions this.please reply
