I've bought a lot knock-off lego sets and some have been pretty good and greatly priced........but most of the time knock-offs can just be slapped together garbage
Don’t agree if that also means the rocket set by GUDI…it very well represents a typical Chinese design, and even has accurate colour schemes and stickers/text! Lego on the other hand just went with this extremely boringly-ugly SLS-esque rocket that resembles the cover on a Sci-Fi novel…and don’t even get me started with that cringy, insultingly-horrible design that is the crew capsule that looks more like a freaking airliner cockpit mixed in with an X-Wing.
I have had fake Lego in 2000s. It costed between 1$ to 8$ for common sets and up to 40$ for most luxurious. Actually those old sets were way more interesting than recent official ones in stores. Though I disapprove faking product, that Lego made my childhood.

Opposite for my Parents they knew it was fake but due to the prices of pesos here we only buy Knock-off and it ain't even the same fake company I have Lepin, LeLE Movie and multiple Chinese names and only 1 Real Lego l, that being the Janitor from a CMF

My favorite thing about off brand lego that is actually high quality is that the studs don't have the ugly lego logo on them, it makes the studs look much more clean

Truth is sets are close enough that paying 1/5th or 1/4th or even half of the price completely and utterly shifts the balance in favor of fake lego. Sure if you're a purist collector or if you have the budget go for it but if you just wanna play or even MOC it's a no brainer.
BTW the plane one there is a more similar lego set with a huge controll tower for the price its blue and I forget the set name but ot was very good in my lego City build it hardly has any storage but alot more seats and more detailed airport tower

I just watched this video and just realised the plane is not real lego. Usually i can tell if something is real lego or not but i never knew that the plane was offbrand.

I’ve bought a few fake legos, and they were absolutely the worst, the mini figure were either not put together correctly or can be easily broken
Lego is more expensive by a lot because it uses very expensive plastic it’s like $4 a kilogram or 0.5 a pound
