Beef and Onion Claypot Rice 牛肉洋葱煲仔饭

- Claypot rice sometimes translated as "rice casserole", is a traditional Chinese dinner eaten widely in Guangdong in Southern China. The rice is presoaked and finished in the clay pot with other ingredients which then flavour the rice. The rice develops a crispy rice crust similar to that in Korean dolsot bibimbap and Spanish paella.
煲仔饭是中国广东地区的传统经典食物,把预先泡过的米和其他菜蔬肉类食材一起在砂锅中烹饪,食材之间味道互相融合,并且在锅底形成酥脆的“饭焦”或者叫”锅巴“ 。这和韩国的石锅拌饭还有西班牙的炊饭有异曲同工之妙。

you've used the wrong rice for this dish...it has to be long grain rice, which doesn't hold as much moisture as the short grains therefore crispier looks delicious otherwise
