5:04 Regarding bokeh, the S21U has more bokeh, but it auto switched to macro mode using UW camera, something they call "focus enhancer", turn it off, bokeh will be back.
Hey Deeptesh, we are aware of this feature and have addressed in in our review linked in the description. It was not turned on when taking this picture, as we remember taking it 3x just to take a shot comparable to the Find X3 Pro. We feel it should not have to switch to that anyway given we were very far from the subject in that case.
@@GNTECHAE it switched for whatever reason, it has a 1/1.33 inch sensor, it will have bokeh, by the laws of physics. You can see the bokeh in the next shot of the tree bark. It was an anomaly that it switched for that instance. Lack of bokeh is a wrong way to put it.

Your review was very helpful - thank you. I realised that Oppo and Samsung flagship smartphones are not up to my standards. There is no point in paying big money for such poor photography and filming performance from these phones. The fact that this video has less than 10k views is really cruel. But I do have something to say about the video though: 1. The angle seemed to be very different on both phones, in some scenes. A little difference is just okay, but there are pics that look way too different in angle. 2. It looks like you enabled focus enhancer for those leaf shots on the S21 Ultra, because naturally, there should be a deep bokeh effect when capturing at that distance with the main sensor. 4. The night mode shot where the Find X3 Pro struggled to focus, I think it would've been better if the distance between the phones and the subject was at the same level.

In response to your points: 1) It is extremely difficult to account for human error but we will try our best to minimise this in the future. 2) It had switched to focus enhancer and I truly remember turning it off and taking an image. But there is a slight pause between it switching which could be the reason for the lack of bokeh. An earlier comment pointed out the same and we will be sure to ensure better consistency in videos to come. 3) In the night mode shot you refer to, our elbow was rested against a flat surface with our arm holding both smartphones to ensure a consistent distance. The result was exactly what you see. As mentioned in the video, we tried this multiple times and got the same result. Nonetheless, thank you once again for your thoughtful comment. Messages like these are what keep us going and are what will ensure us to get even better in the future! :)
Great video thanks, brilliant camera and video comparisons. I thought they both had their strengths and weaknesses, the S21 ultra probably the best but would be happy with either.
