Wurth Capacitors, are generally very good. They are up there with Nichicon and Rubycon.

It will be a good one then to compare against some $0.03 capacitors. See which degrade or pop first.

@@retireeelectronics2649 Well... for normal use, the cheap AliExpress capacitors a fine. For precise work or less noise work, generally precision equipment, and where I use them, in audio equipment.

Thanks for posting. Question you ever used the CD4024be Seven Stage Binary Counter ic chip? I have used one to build an analog to digital R2R resistor Stair Step Generator circuit. For a Curve Tracer circuit.

No I have not, but that looks like an interesting project to do at some point.

@ Thanks. I also used the CD4060be and a 32.768 KHZ quartz Crystal. This will give you an output of 2048 hertz if divided by 16. Then if you input it into the CD4024 divide by 8 you get a final output of 256 hertz.

Ended with calling the aliens to visit you, any flat top mountains near you ? should wait for summer, climbing a mountain in winter !
Can start to train the hand signals, maybe build a mechanical hand using the pico2

Should be interesting learning the Pico and seeing what I can interface to it. Maybe something for April Fools day.

Seems I got burnt worse than you with the Canada Post strike. I have 12 items on order from Ali including a $400 item. I want to buy some more stuff, but probably I should wait until this is resolved.
Usually, they just do the 'rotating strike' thing, but not this time. I just found an article online suggesting that many people haven't even noticed that Canada Post is on strike, and most businesses are surviving just fine. The negotiator has just stepped down saying the parties are way too far apart. It is truly shocking. Canada Post has been bleeding money and customers for years. By any standard they should already be bankrupt, since they have become way too expensive and inefficient to compete. Far from being sympathetic to the plight of the 'poor underpaid postal workers', most people couldn't care less, yet the union is demanding a whopping 24% increase.
It may be quite a while before I see my stuff. Whatever they eventually agree on, most likely shipping costs from China will skyrocket. Perhaps the happy days of shopping on Ali, and the many 'mailbag' segments, may soon be winding down.

I suspect the strike will be a minimum of a month possibly a lot longer. If it was not for AliExpress orders, I would get about 3 Christmas cards total for mail in a year. My bet is the negotiators' (both sides) planned for a short strike with the government legislating them back to work. Looks like that is not going to happen.
Luckily we live in a free country so they can strike if they want too. My question would be, "is Canada Post losing more or less money during the strike?"

Those clear plastic speakers sound awful! Still, good enough for anunciator purposes.
The plastic goes right to the metal bracket which limits excursion range and flexibility so ruin lower frequencies at higher volumes. Something to watch out for when you drive them.

I am not expecting great audio from the plastic covered speakers. The main use will be outside in a wet environment since these are rated IP65. Currently my Halloween motion sensitive display uses a speaker inside two tin cans (-:
