I have been purchasing L’Air d’Rien since Miller Harris launched it. It’s one of my signatures a a favorite from the brand. The new formulation is just fine imo. 👍🏼 I’m wanting to explore scents from the house of Oddity this year
Samples- Yes, you should be able to hit all of these in Milan, right? And then report back. 😅 Jorum Spiritcask is the one I'm interested in smelling. For 2025- I would like to smell Bienaimé. Classic powdery scents are a little challenging for me, but they sound beautiful.
I have recently tried Jorum and as a house I am very impressed. I enjoyed Pony Boy and own Rose Highland. So many to explore from this interesting brand. Thanks Pep for the video!
I’ve watched this video several times now and keep meaning to comment- thank you for highlighting Jorum Studios - I have actually been in Edinburgh several times last year and didn’t know about them- I’ll be sure to pop in next time I’m there. Thanks again Pep ❤
I second your thoughts about discovering Jorum. Enough trusted noses talked about the brand to pique my interest. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the two I’ve tried so far (Pony Boy, Healing Berry) and look forward to exploring more from them.
I absolutely love honey scents. Have you tried any of these? Slowdive - Hiram Green (true, dark honey) Burmite Honey - Prin (spiced honey, slight vintage feel) Bee - Zoologist (true sticky honey. It has the tang of warmed honey plus some florals. There’s also a beeswax note, but I mainly smell honey.)
I’m looking forward to testing out the full lines from Francesca Bianca, Les Indemodables, and maybe Imaginary Authors. I’m also interested in finally testing Arquiste. They’ve been on my “to try” list for about ten years.
Ambra from SMN shares a similarity to Dyptique'sBenjoin Beheme but with this beautiful contrasting citrus note. I personally thinks its a soft, classy and classic slightly fresh take on amber. I have a full bottle and I love it :) I look forward to your take!
@ the bottle of Ambra? Well it only comes in the larger size so I was forced to buy the bigger bottle which I’m pretty sure is 100 ml; in the classic pretty SMN style bottles which I think are adorable
The brand I really want to try this year is Jouissance Parfum. I’m on a no buy until March as moving home cost me a fortune. So I intend to make their sample kit my first purchase.
@@TheScentinel I first heard of them through the On the Scent podcast, if you listen to their 4 July 24 Vintage Style podcast around the 29min mark. Suzy goes into such great detail about them. Based around erotic literature, they are all a little naughty especially one.
Hey Pep, I blind bought Arborist when they were having a Studio Sale just a few weeks ago. It has a beautiful saffron opening that reminds me a little of Gilded and IA Slow Explosions, but lacks any hint of sweetness. A bit challenging in the turpenes, but I do like it. Trimerous and Carduus sound really good. I’ve been obsessed with Les Indemodables Oriental Velours lately, and revisiting their Discovery Set. There are so many houses I’d like to explore! Serge Lutens being at the top, but also I’d like to dive into the classics by Guerlain, Hermes, and Chanel.
I love Vanagloria, the vanilla dry down is well worth the burnt rubber tyre opening I smell. I'm used to it now but I do think I get some side eyes when I've freshly sprayed before jumping on the train.
I hope you had an enjoyable and relaxing break Pep. I had samples of both Trimerous and Arborist, however I’m not sure if I finished them. I will rummage through my samples and if I still have them I will post them down to you. For 2025, I’m curious to smell Influerno by Eau de Boujee, get a sample set from Filigree & Shadow and I’ve also not tried any from Santa Maria Novella, so I want to sample some of those this year as well. Take care💛
I’m very curious about SMN Ambre. I heard it’s lovely and warm and cozy. The SMN store manager told me it’s coming to Australia a bit later on. I will try and probably get it in Venezia in May. But if it comes here before May, I will get it here. Happy 2025 to you
@@shirleycantoni3152 i was told from someone at SMN store here in Melbourne, that initially it would only be sold in Italy, so it makes sensebit might be here later in the year. Hope you get to try it in Venezia.
You should try Osang by Mendittorosa. To me it's pure honey, the raw natural organic honey from a farm, not from a grocery store. I can't even smell the other notes because it's so overpowering
@@TheScentinel it has been bad actually here … I live about 30 miles away from Altadena and have had friends from church who have lost there homes. Thanks for asking . Difficult to know how to help
