+M.Night207 No, no. No. I think you mean: ...in the wrong cognitive process dealing with mental representation failure. *grins* I knew cognition class would come in handy. I just didn't think it would be for smart-assery.
Or have him originate the role "Young Charlie" in the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Kinky Boots." Oh, he did that … Cast him in as Benji (replacement) in the Broadway musical "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," from Mar 20, 2011 - Jun 24, 2012.
+Sealyalf Actually, no. They always make sure the mall is aware the musical is happening and usually has them play the background music on the speakers. They've said it themselves.
A musical breaks out in a New Jersey Mall next to Santa's Village, surprising holiday shoppers with a hilarious song. By the end, even the Mall Santa has to sing. Watch and share our classic Christmas video!
Molly Clifford Ikr when they said 'Anyone else want to sit on santa?' I thought they serious asking for audience to join but i guess not.....I think I might embarrassing myself taking those question to serious and go join them😂😂
If you're talking about the dude with the Styrofoam, he's one of The Gregory Brothers, as is the dude in the present. And definitely a part of the show.
ArcadeGamer - Gaming Tbh, I doubt it xD But I do hope for everybody's sake that they do. Trained singer or not, the first few seconds give away how awkward it'd be.
The music in the beer song was played over the PA system, and so were others, so we can conclude that the music is most likely played over the announcement system
Just ran in to this amazing Santa in a restaurant...he went out of his way to come and greet my kids. Afterward, my kids wanted to hug him and he allowed us to take photos. What a truly STAND UP Man...Thank you!! made my kids YEAR.... thanks Santa! xxx
This needs to be a musical! And that little boy is going places, and I hope he preforms on Broadway someday if he already hasn't! I look forward to watching this musical skit on TH-cam every year and I really want to do this with my friends at a talent show or something. I've watched this so many times I actually memorized this song lol. I wish they would do another musical one with just children though, it would be so cute!
That freaking lucky duckling of a little girl (0:29) has seen TWO spontaneaous musicals in her life time. (Either that or her twin sister saw the food court musical :P)
The things these guys do are just amazing, thye show that practical jokes don't have to be mean, thye should make you notice things all around you, these men (and women) are truly magical people
I LOVE THESE VIDEOS!!!!!!!!!! The ones were people burst into song and dance! The thing I love about them is that the people who start singing are the people you least expect it! At the end, I never knew Santa was in one it! It was hilarious!
i love how all of your videos are appropriate enough to show to little cousins, or anybody really, and you kind of have to make it appropriate, because there's always kids where you do your events.
I salute to you guys. You make life more awesome. And especially for the people in that mall, they experienced something great. I wished that there were more people and formations like you. You're awesome! :)
A friend of mine once spontaneously joined an Improv Everywhere performance, without knowing he was not entirely welcome. I think "Improv" in the name is a misnomer. He got interviewed afterward, asking him if he knew what was going on. He said no, but that if everyone was going to be banging spontaneous rhythms on random objects, he wasn't going to miss out on the fun! This was in DC in 2010...I should try to find that video! Also, I love the Gregory Brothers!
The lady at 0:41 and 1:24 has me in tears! She's like, "No! I'm not with them. I don't know em, I swear!" She's looking a lil suspect because she had not one, but TWO people next to her break out in song.
They usually use a specific group of people for the musicals because because of proficiency/talent necessities, but if you check out their website, you can get on an email list to keep updated about their upcoming projects. (Or I think an email list. I know you can keep up to date somehow.)
"Hey do you want to sit on Santa's lap?"
"I don't think so. I'm Jewish."
"Happy Hanukkah!"
best line ever
I'm also Jewish, we sit on Judah's lap..
Heppy Hanukkah!! ✡️🕎🇮🇱
Make sense
In the wrong context this song can be interpreted entirely differently
Indeed
+tragoedia veritas Not the wrong context, but the wrong thought process
+M.Night207 No, no. No. I think you mean: ...in the wrong cognitive process dealing with mental representation failure. *grins* I knew cognition class would come in handy. I just didn't think it would be for smart-assery.
jesus wept
My cognition guys!!!
When he kept asking "anyone?" I was expecting for someone random from the public to try to join in =P
Evija3000 me too.
God that would be so awkward
@@betakill3903 they stopped because they started working on something for Disney+
Me too
" I don't think so, I'm Jewish." I laughed so hard
Shu of the Dead "happy Hanukkah"
We sit on Judah's lap..
The kid has talent. Give em a tv show.
He was great in the Harry Potter in Real Life Video too!
Then he'll turn out like the rest of them, what happened to the rest of them anyways?
Give him Home Alone 4
Or have him originate the role "Young Charlie" in the 2013 Tony Award-winning Broadway musical "Kinky Boots."
Oh, he did that …
Cast him in as Benji (replacement) in the Broadway musical "Priscilla, Queen of the Desert," from Mar 20, 2011 - Jun 24, 2012.
Ya which that was me
I like the way the kid yelled "Mom!" when she told his real age. That was a great touch. :D
it sounded very real. the kid could be a good actor
I can't tell if Santa was in on it the whole time or not
Music was in the background, so I think he was
I think the elf was in on it two
+Summer Princess THe music dosen't actually play for those watching. It's added in during post
+Sealyalf Actually, no. They always make sure the mall is aware the musical is happening and usually has them play the background music on the speakers. They've said it themselves.
Ah sorry my mistake. I knew they let the mall know. I just didn't think the music actually played.
"I'M SANTA CLAUS! ANYONE CAN SIT ON ME!"
Excuse me while I laugh so hard I forget to breathe and die.
A musical breaks out in a New Jersey Mall next to Santa's Village, surprising holiday shoppers with a hilarious song. By the end, even the Mall Santa has to sing. Watch and share our classic Christmas video!
Excellent work!
***** How do you get people to do this? I want to do this (even though i'm too young so D:)
Huskies Plays *singing* You're never too young to sing with Improv... Everywhere! xD
+Huskies Plays (Huskies709) they got a nine year old, you're never too young to be in a musical
Why do you guys like doing musicals?
I'd be that one idiot that would ruin it by trying to join in!
Molly Clifford same xD
Hahahah 😂
Same 😂
But no one will blame you.
Molly Clifford Ikr when they said 'Anyone else want to sit on santa?' I thought they serious asking for audience to join but i guess not.....I think I might embarrassing myself taking those question to serious and go join them😂😂
"Everyone can sit on me!" Thats just came out wrong...
Moral of the story is: Whoever you are, you can sit on Santa's lap.
I'm not sure i want to after seeing this video.
69th like
What would happen if a random person tried to get a solo in?
Improv
The Jewish guy was actually a random person.
If you're talking about the dude with the Styrofoam, he's one of The Gregory Brothers, as is the dude in the present. And definitely a part of the show.
I was expecting at least 50 people singing.
Never fails to get my spirits up.
WHY DID I READ PENIS OMG I'M DYING
I don't even know if at the end that was planned or not but I love how he just joined in and didn't give a f*ck.
Pretty sure it was planned, but it was still great!
I feel this might be REALLY bad without the background music xD like.. painfully bad
Probably not. They all sound like trained singers
Connor Terrell It would be akward
Do they not play the music on like a CD player while singing it?
ArcadeGamer - Gaming Tbh, I doubt it xD But I do hope for everybody's sake that they do. Trained singer or not, the first few seconds give away how awkward it'd be.
The music in the beer song was played over the PA system, and so were others, so we can conclude that the music is most likely played over the announcement system
man!! this is amazing .. its so awesome to change a public place to a dreamy land of musical story... just amazing ...
+arnab som yeah!! they should do this all over the world!! the universe!! :)
That made me feel warm and fuzzy inside *whipes away a small tear* Thank you!
Just ran in to this amazing Santa in a restaurant...he went out of his way to come and greet my kids. Afterward, my kids wanted to hug him and he allowed us to take photos. What a truly STAND UP Man...Thank you!! made my kids YEAR.... thanks Santa! xxx
That kid looks just like Macaulay Culkin
That red hair kid is now 14 if he was 10
+French Reaper But the character was 9 in July, meaning that he's actually 13 now and will turn 14 next July.
15 now
16 now his name is Sebastian Hedges Thomas. He is an actor and he was even in Sex Tape and black dog, red dog too!

It’s ok though, because you are never to old to sit on Santa
Oh my gosh, the Gregory brothers are in this! That's awesome! :D
This needs to be a musical! And that little boy is going places, and I hope he preforms on Broadway someday if he already hasn't! I look forward to watching this musical skit on TH-cam every year and I really want to do this with my friends at a talent show or something. I think it's great that The Gregory Brothers were here.
The fact that the kid looks like Kevin McCallister 😂😂😂
This may just be the explanation to my lack of Christmas presents, now it's time to go break Santa's kneecaps. (Just kidding)
So amazing.. By the time I found this video on TH-cam it's already 9 years.. Of been uploaded but I felt so pumped up.. Thank you..
That's the real magic of christmas

That freaking lucky duckling of a little girl (0:29) has seen TWO spontaneaous musicals in her life time.

The things these guys do are just amazing, thye show that practical jokes don't have to be mean, thye should make you notice things all around you, these men (and women) are truly magical people

The spontaneous musicals are my favourite of the improv everywhere, they're so uplifting, someone should start doing them in England!:)))))
Without them, i'll never found a video like this.
The lady at 0:41 and 1:24 has me in tears! She's like, "No! I'm not with them. I don't know em, I swear!" She's looking a lil suspect because she had not one, but TWO people next to her break out in song.

Faith in humanity, this almost made me cry:)
In the kid's mind, in the day of your 9th birthday, you're 9 years old. But everyday after you're already 10 years old!

They usually use a specific group of people for the musicals because because of proficiency/talent necessities, but if you check out their website, you can get on an email list to keep updated about their upcoming projects. (Or I think an email list. I know you can keep up to date somehow.)
Watching a spontaneous musical about Santa on Halloween. It totally makes sense.
