Great stuff in the beginning, but the futsal -Technic isnt anything for football. Its works fine in small areas and on small goals- A football goalkeeper should always go for saving the ball with the hands, to catch the ball . Not blocking and leave rebounds. The futsal block only works if the shoot goes straight at the body. If not its a goal. And if u stand like a futsal keeper the striker in football have the possibility to change direction or shoot far away from the keeper, as the goal is BIGGER then a futsal goal.
First: Thanks for watching, I appreciate. In Germany we are teaching two forms of ball blocking. The "dynamic or long block" or the "short block/"HockeyPlayer". Both depending on the distance to the striker in 1vs1 situations. In this session we worked on the "short block" technique. If you are in a 1vs1 situation against the striker, the goalkeeper should try to reduce the distance to him as much as possible if (!) it's possible. The less the distance, the smaller the the goal.....if you are in a good blocking position which means long standing/staying BIG!!! I know, in this video you can find a lot of technical "mistakes" or false positioning. It's because the boys were 14 at this time....you should see them now😉 Anyway and again: Thanks for watching and your comment.
7.40 in the clip, why dosnt he try to save with his hands? And 8.28 why dosnt he attack the ball with his hands? Dive infront of the striker to CATCH the ball, now he is run over and its a goal
How Team?? Thanks
