Good to see you out just enjoying that white stuff :) Yes you don't want your pups eating that & being sick, The joys of having water as your front yard, Keep that fire going, stay safe & warm !
So good to see you both today. Glad your back Diana. Thank you for sharing today. Stay safe and warm. Spring will be here before you know it. God bless you both. Take care from. Ape Cod Massachusetts ❤️❤️🇺🇸✌️
Have you considered finding some white tots to hold your wood. Cut out the tops and part of one side and stack your wood in the tots during the summer/fall. Then use the tractor to swap out full for empty during the winter.
I no you have had lots of full blown Alaska Gail’s cold temperatures and high wind glad to see your feet are still on the ground. Out west in the Gulf of Alaska all the way to Japan is mother nature’s weather breeding ground when it get to Alaska in side Passage it is pushed up over the very high Costal Mountains and the temperatures drop and you are right there in the danger zone. Glad to see you working had to put out good video up date had to do when the S____t alway hitting the Fan. Thank guys good to see your still there
Happy New Year to you both and to Raven and Gunner. Pleased to see you’re both well and had a good Christmas and NY break. ❤️❤️ from Sydney, Australia.
Good to see you back on TH-cam! We are finally getting out of a week of subzero temperatures and windchill here in Wyoming. At one point we were -30°F with -48° windchill.
You should put the wood cart INSIDE the bucket of the tractor, fill it up and all you have to do is slide it onto the deck………I know, Easy for me to say!!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂
Daily chores will wait for no one. Just the necessities food water and heat a little exercise living the life. Good to see you two back at home. I hope your mom is doing well. I guess she is or you wouldn't be back on the island. Saving the puppies from them selves is sometimes a chore but well worthwhile.
Glad to hear you both had a nice (hopefully) rest and relaxation when Diana came home. I pray that her mother will continue to heal. Watching you work in the cold reminded me of how i move around now. Stiff and sore. Like me though we do it because it has to be done. I’m in the upper peninsula right now. My baby brother who is non verbal down syndrom is dying. It’s awful to see him suffering and i’m just praying he doesn’t have to suffer much longer. He just had his 56th birthday friday. When he was born they told us we’d be lucky if he lived to be 19 but God blessed us with all these years having him. I told him that the good thing is because he’s the baby and the rest of us are all going downhill fast that hopefully we won’t be far behind. My mother and sister will be there to meet him when it’s time. I know life is hard but at times like this i just wonder why it has to be this hard because of how much pain he’s suffering from. Please pray that he doesn’t have to suffer much longer. I’m praying that everything stays safe, healthy and peacefull for you all. You have had more than your share in the last few years. Good to see you all together and Thanks for sharing.
@@AnAlaskaHomestead My brother died peacefully today. Although i’m really sad that i won’t be able to see him and his beautiful smile until we meet again i’m releaved he doesn’t have to suffer the pain he was in anymore.
Alright, things are good when everyone is at home. Been preparing pike for the pressure canner & got some crop damage tags for white tail deer. Back at hunting. Living free in Northern MI. Be safe & MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR to all.
More time for cuddles. Thats a hassle for water, but am glad you have those big tanks. I don't know how you fill them (rain?? . I hope you have enough firewood to last you lot? CHEERS NZ
I think your weather got lost, it's down here in Tennessee... We've been shut down for a week with snow, freezing rain and single digit temps on both sides of zero. Next week we'll be back to normal.
Nice to see her back. Still loving your channel, tries simple living again but it just doesn't do it for me. Anyway, you thinking about a wood shed? Moving those tarps has to get old. Maybe even a smaller one on the porch too? Thank You for sharing so much with us and looking forward to more!
So when do you clad/ cover the rest of the house and do something to cover your porch area where the wood is and the front door?? Just asking feom a +42°C Worcester. South Africa.
They are warning boat owners to remove the snow off their boats. Several boats have sunk in the harbor. They also had a couple of avalanches but I don’t think it hit anything or the harbor.
@@AnAlaskaHomestead I appreciated seeing the tight belts on the waders. Some do not realize how dangerous falling in the water without one is. Otherwise, I have never been into "mining", but love to prospect and pan some of course while doing so. I don't get the "fever". When you're out an about in places like a few videos I have seen so far likely worth poking around in bedrock cracks and such. Nothing hurts finding an ounce or so chunk as a part of the normal routine. Be safe!
I thought this was supposed to be easy times.. You're working too hard. Wood, water, and frozen deer skin.. Hey, how do you not have to winterize boat engines when not in use? Take er easy brother..
Thanks. ✌🏻👊🏼
No problem 👍
Glad you all are taking all the cold and snow...so we don't get any down here...good on you..
Cheers 😂

Glad you are back!
Glad to see the wife back home! ❤ you need some 275 gallon tote cages to load wood in and put on the deck with forks on your tradder

Do you have plans on building a woodshed from wood you mill yourself this summer? I understand the pain factor of tarps on wood stacks. PITA!!! 😂
Man I sure hope so. Spring needs to hurry up.
@@AnAlaskaHomestead I agree!
I've seen some gnarly pictures of boats in Juneau that were all messed up.
What happened?

They also had a couple of avalanches but I don’t think it hit anything or the harbor.

You need your wits about you if you want to do boating up north, thats for sure!
how often do you do the firewood thing good to have her back
That cart last about 3 days.
Gald you both are back! Is there a heater in the cabin of your boat?
There is.
Do you ever do any gold prospecting or panning?
No, I worked in a gold mine for a few years when I first moved up here. There is another hard rock gold mine about 20 miles from us. So who knows.

He lives in Edmond.
I live about 45 miles from him just due East on Rt 66 in Davenport.

We tilt the engines down and get all of for a day or two to get all of the water out and when the higher tides come we lift them back up.
Not being judgmental as U are a very handsome and resourceful man can you please trim your beard❤
Maybe 🤔
Do you think insulating the water tank might help with the cold?
We are planning on inclosing the big tank so it will get heat from the cabin.
Good to see you again!
Hey, thanks!
