Thank you so much for this! I used your recording to save the lives of 4 baby Mallard ducks yesterday. They were newborns & had been abandoned by the mama duck. It took about 3-4 hrs. to wrangle them but I safely captured them & turned them over to the pros at Peninsula Wildlife Sanctuary. It's important for people to know NOT to just let babies go at the local pond. Mother ducks leave the water to lay & hatch her eggs. The father (Drake) will kill the babies if he can. I played your video to attract the babies away from the street & safely up my driveway where I was able to catch them. They are very fast, about 15-18 mph & gave me a good workout! Thanks for helping to save 4 precious little lives.
I have pet ducks and have one inside by himself right now because he's sick. I'm actually trying to play videos of ducks for him so he's not lonely. But I can't seem to get sound from this particular video? But any other YT video I can. Does this have sound for anyone else or is it something wrong I'm going?
The sound seems to be working ok for me, so I'm not really sure what the problem could be. We have several other duck videos you could watch if you're interested. Hopefully you duck feels better!
While I love to listen to ducks having raised them growing up, I can tell you’ve used the wrong sounds for this clip. There’s too many other birds, noises and even ducks being played over this compilation. There’s splashing of water where they’re walking on the grass, too many duck sounds for the amount of ducks shown or napping, sound doesn’t match actual beak movement, no sounds of ducklings, geese or goslings. I know you probably didn’t get that many good sound bytes while filming because ducks aren’t generally noisy all the time, but I’d rather have the right sounds and less repeated clips in a 10hr video cause then you’re just making eye candy (or would it be considered ear candy?) for likes & subscriptions. Please take this as constructive criticism - I’m trying to find a good sound of ducks, farms, birds, woods to fall asleep to & for my dogs to watch. Compared to some that play bird sounds of parrots or monkey sounds over cows & squirrels, your channel is nice. (I wish those others would post the sounds aren’t from USA, some Australian birds screech too much to enjoy nicely.)
Thank you for the feedback! We're always trying to improve the quality of the videos. It can be tricky to get the sound just right, but I'll keep your suggestions in mind for future videos.
Baby ducklings are the cutest little things!!
