I like him in the House of Mouse, he had the best running gag. Mickey: Horace, what's wrong? Horace: My lips are chaped, there's not enough trees in the rainforest, and gas is still too expensive. Mickey: No, what's wrong here.
I remember one of those from the first episode. Mickey: "Horace, what's wrong?" Horace: "All the trees are being cut down, nobody votes anymore and the internet's too dang slow!" Mickey: "No! What's wrong in here?" Horace: "Oh, somebody tied me up and took all our cartoons."
That Horace cartoon sounds like one that'd fit Disney XD, and with Mickey Mouse Cartoons becoming a thing on Disney Channel again maybe there's hope for good O'l Horace.
Sora Song yes but that game is so much more like an anime game while epic Mickey is different although they do use some older cartoon characters but it’s almost like a different universe
Same in Sweden. I was really surprised that Horace and, especially, Clarabelle, were in the Wasteland, and even more surprised that Mickey didn't remember them. Sure, they don't appear that often, but they certainly appear enough of times to be counted as 'remembered'. Maybe it's just the animated, and not the comic, versions of the character that are in the game? Also, if Clarabelle and Horace are counted as forgotten, so should Clara Cluck. I wouldn't count her as forgotten either, but she sure appears way less than Clarabelle and Horace...
I actually liked Horace and Clarabell more than goofy and donald, in fact I still remembered him before epic mickey. I don't know but I could relate to them more, he was just a horse and clarabell was just a cow; no powers, no fame; just an average toon. Pity people forgot him...
Poor old fella, I remember seeing him in a lot of the old Mickey cartoons. He is quiet a dancer, at least he was in the 30s ^^; I never knew they had a TV idea for him, that would have been interesting to see.
In an interview with Communicore Weekly, Bill Farmer mentions that he voiced Horace in "The Prince and the Pauper", and for his voice as the Prince's tutor, Bill imagined Horace as speaking in a voice that sounds like a cross between Jim Backus on "Gilligan's Island" and Ben Stein in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off".
At first he sounds like a static character now he sounds like a acting horse who just gets lost all the time. Maybe that's the reason why he isn't around so much.
Horace wasn't FULLY forgotten...I remember someone from an epic mickey video (who was part of Disney) saying that the Horace and Clarabelle in that game were replased by the colored versions...
I'm loving this series of your's! I agree, Horace is definately a very underrated Disney character. I wonder who else you'll do in this series that I thought was over already.
I saw horice in a quick cartoon extra at the movies yesterday. I've watched ur videos a while back n I wanted to c where he showed up in his glory days.
Actually while Horace did not show up in cartoons for over a decade, he actually remained more or less a stable character in a few foreign comics. Not that he would be much of a big gamer (mostly a background character and friend of Mickey who gets in trouble) but he was there. Thing is, they changed his name here and there. I am from Germany and there he got the name Rudi Ross. Rudi being an "old fashioned" german name and Ross being another word for horse.
@MegatheMouse54397 He got it from me, I Kristen Ramirez ( known as Dalia1784 on Deviantart) That was early concept art I did for a fan comic I did called Interstellar Detectives. You can read the comic's first eight pages so far, I'm updating again beginning May 30
Dude, in Epic Mickey you have to first find Oswald to get the first Horace mission. Then, defeat Petetronic to get the second one, beat Captain Hook to get the third one, and defeat The Mad Doctor for the last one. That way, the missions won't be all over the place
I've known Horace for most of my life and I tried to get people to remember him. and at least disney is trying to bring Horace back even if it is for a short or sporadic percentages of the time oh well but in reality Horace shouldn't be in this game because like you said he has made some apperences in shows and games
I thought Horace was the prince's teacher in The Prince and the Pauper, as opposed to tutor (and I assumed he was home schooled). Do they specifically say whether he was either?
yes he can but it is very rare theyfive the actor lines to read for pluto but i can recall maybe one or two cartoons where pluto talks i just recall the nameses of them
2:26 Horace, Clarabelle, Oswald, and Ortensia in a show where the're heroes of an entire planet while trying to get back home?! Why didn't they make this show!?
Everyone read this comment! When Goofy came into the shorts nothing really happened to Horace. Goofy was just a new member of the gang and Horace was buddies with Goofy. But then one character came into the shorts and his popularity doomed Horace. Who was that character that sealed Horace’s fate you ask? I’ll tell you his name...DONALD DUCK. Reply to this comment.

I kinda want the Wasteland to be a world in a Kingdom Hearts game.
Sora Song yes but that game is so much more like an anime game while epic Mickey is different although they do use some older cartoon characters but it’s almost like a different universe
@@Calebreed289 I just want it to be referenced or get a world or at least have Oswald as a character.
Me too, Wasteland in a Kingdom Hearts would’ve been awesome.
Gotta love classic animat
Horace has always been a favorite of mine. Thank you for making a video about him!
Don't forget the short "Get a Horse" at the beginning of Frozen!😋
Savaemaz eeyup
This was way before that
luckily for Horace, he's getting more appearences AGAIN, with his movie theatre debut... again... during the short before Frozen "Horsing Around"
Do you mean Get a Horse?
Clarabelle abd horace aren't forgotten here in the netherlands..they appear in a weekly comic book: donald duck
shut up saten
Plantster15 wut?

Neither here in Spain
I wanted to see that maximum horse power show
I actually liked Horace and Clarabell more than goofy and donald, in fact I still remembered him before epic mickey.
I don't know but I could relate to them more, he was just a horse and clarabell was just a cow; no powers, no fame; just an average toon. Pity people forgot him...
To bad about the Maximum Horsepower idea, it woulve been cool as the Kingdom Hearts franchise.
so is Horace the same character that appears in the short "get a horse!" that aired before Frozen?
Yep!
Yep!
Ah. I didn’t see Frozen in theaters, and I’m not a fan of the movie, but I would’ve gone to the theaters for that short alone.
i realize it is quite randomly asking but does anybody know of a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Finley Eugene Flixportal =)

The time I first heard of HORACE was back when TOON DISNEY was good and was still airing HOUSE OF MOUSE. Whew, what a fun time that was...
The Epic Mickey Files must have been the Disney version of Animation Look back: Looney Tunes
I would want to see that Sci-Fi TV show with Horace.
At first he sounds like a static character now he sounds like a acting horse who just gets lost all the time. Maybe that's the reason why he isn't around so much.
I would like to see "Maximum Horsepower". It would be great as a return of Disney Afternoon.
Horace wasn't FULLY forgotten...I remember someone from an epic mickey video (who was part of Disney) saying that the Horace and Clarabelle in that game were replased by the colored versions...
I like Horace more that Goofy.
I know it is strange.
me too
I knew i woldnt be the only one.
Simbolic hi-five xD.
thank you
me to
BigBossMan538 In my case probably because Goofy scared me a little when i was younger.
I'm loving this series of your's! I agree, Horace is definately a very underrated Disney character. I wonder who else you'll do in this series that I thought was over already.
my very on hoarce horsecollar.....thanks Jeremy fisher
Pete does that too. I went to give him the film he wanted, and he gave me a bunny child round up. Anyway, I freaking love Horace. He's so cute!
Horace is still showing up from time to time in the donald duck comics in europe.
were he is called: "Karel Paardenppoot"
I saw horice in a quick cartoon extra at the movies yesterday. I've watched ur videos a while back n I wanted to c where he showed up in his glory days.

he still apears in comics in the netherlands
*Hears about the cancelled TV show*
Shame on you, Disney. AGAIN
My favorite Disney character!
I Saw Horace On TV Once
Angel Beas i saw Horace in Mickey and the roadster racers i was so excited 😊
Ngl I was ecstatic when I saw Horace in epic Mickey. Like I remember as a 4 year old jumping being like, “It’s Horace, it’s Horace!!!”
Horace is in Disney Crossy Road!!!!!
Mia S OMG HE IS?!?!
he appears in comics in iceland allot
@MegatheMouse54397 He got it from me, I Kristen Ramirez ( known as Dalia1784 on Deviantart) That was early concept art I did for a fan comic I did called Interstellar Detectives.
You can read the comic's first eight pages so far, I'm updating again beginning May 30
Horace is also in a app called Disney crossy road
He is still popular in norway
he has a big role in house of mouse
No salad fingers comments 😭 I need some rust to cheer me up
The spaghetti Yeti "My very own Horace Horsecollar"
We all need some rust but don't pass out if the red water comes out
The only attention Horace gets nowadays is that you can see him at DCA.
Horace was even in the 3D Short "Get A Horse!"!
Super Smash Bros. music in the background around 2:45. Awesome
Dude, in Epic Mickey you have to first find Oswald to get the first Horace mission. Then, defeat Petetronic to get the second one, beat Captain Hook to get the third one, and defeat The Mad Doctor for the last one. That way, the missions won't be all over the place
hes an incompetent detective.
he's my favourite and i liked him in get a horse.
He even comes back in the Mickey short get a horse from 2013
Now he’s making appearances in the new Mickey Mouse cartoons
I loved it
Omg, I remember him. Sad he didn't remain. Liked his character.
It's not that forgotten in Italy, where he appears as a friend of Mickey...
Wow Disney, that’s quite a set of…..nostrils you’ve given Clara.
Me, too!
i met bill farmer his wife worked on the tremors movies
1:54 DEAR GOD not to be perverded but just the look on his face just, errrr...
I feel so bad for that Clocktower. I mean I know I would snap.
He's the same species.
I've known Horace for most of my life and I tried to get people to remember him. and at least disney is trying to bring Horace back even if it is for a short or sporadic percentages of the time oh well but in reality Horace shouldn't be in this game because like you said he has made some apperences in shows and games
Actually Horace was a character in house of mouse
Looks like Clarabelle Cow is next!
I miss Horace
one time I saw him in a mickey cartoon on Disney Channel
gaming dino Me Too
Oops have it on playlist hehe .
I still remembered the guy. :P
Sorry, it's called "Get A Horse" not "Horsing Around"
do you said: voice of Pluto! Pluto is a dog, dog don't talk!
actually horis appeared and is appearing in Mickey mouse club house along with clareabell moo cow
Smash Bros. music in a Disney documentary...winning.
I only ever heard of Horace through Salad Fingers, where's any mention of that?
I thought Horace was the prince's teacher in The Prince and the Pauper, as opposed to tutor (and I assumed he was home schooled). Do they specifically say whether he was either?
In The Mickey Mouse Shorts He In Year Of The Dog
@disneynut06 Who knows, maybe the sequel will involve the people of the Wasteland getting out and beocming part of Mickey's gang again.
I only remember this guy from House of Mouse.
I didn't even remember him from that sorry Horace I guess I was just too young
yes he can but it is very rare theyfive the actor lines to read for pluto but i can recall maybe one or two cartoons where pluto talks i just recall the nameses of them
Almost like a Disney version of Chuck Cunningham.
tell that to goofy then lol
I don't think The Prince and the Pauper counts because that guy has no trace of Horace's original personality if you know what I mean.
2:26 Horace, Clarabelle, Oswald, and Ortensia in a show where the're heroes of an entire planet while trying to get back home?! Why didn't they make this show!?
2:27 it's Oswald
What about Horace in 'Get a Horse'
This was posted in 2011
That came out in 2013
...But Pluto can't talk!!!!!!!
he was replaced by goofy
Charlieboy Saldivar No Goofy came when Horace was still going strong. I’d say Donald being introduced was what led to his loss of popularity.
@narut0kid13 Well, sort of. I got his name wrong. I thought he was Morris Moose. oops.
Horace appeared in 2013 get a horse
so did Oswald
You are correct
+Joseph Angel Rodriguez you get a Cooke!
@gamerrants Yes. :3
1:55 Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
@thomasandtencents1 almost.. but i hope (and kmaybe know) that he won't be taken by alien. an a.s i mean disappear like the horse.
Trolololololi
Then why did Disney create Goofy?
@narut0kid13 i knew horace before epic mickey and he was my favourite charackter
Lol I draw Horace a lot actually.
Where did you get the picture with Oswald, Franny(I'm assuming), Clarabelle, and Horace?
I posted the wrong comment on the wrong video. Stupid fast pace playlist thingy.
@AnimeYoshiGirl yes. LOL
Horace is better than goofy!
This may sound kinda rude to you. But your voice sounds very cartoonish. You'd be a marvellous voice actor.
Hey you sholud watch a vidoe called Oswald's Story I think you will like it.
What that did not happen
what
about
animatronics
?
