I think it was also supposed to give a bigger insight into what exactly the Threshold Towers were for other than that it was a giant warp gate. Plus new GDI/NOD Tech which looks way awesome. I love the design of the Orca there... To bad they cancelled it. Even the Suits looked cool.
Seriously with this kind of ideas and design for the game, Tiberium should be at least suffice to impress major C&C fans. The only thing EA need to redesign is in the game graphic engine in order to match the awesome graphic environment of some great titles of FPS in the market today.
@vlweb3d I can only assume that the lack of profit they made with C&C, coupled with constant (but justified) whining from the Westwood fans made them think that they would spend too much money on maintenance and could instead just produce a shitty conclusion and fire the staff.
@Ahamster1 yeah why spend the time and money needed to make a good game when you can throw together a shitty game, piss off all the fans, and kill an entire franchise at half of the cost!!!
