The mid 1950's. My American parents, on father's military assignment, chose to live "off base" in St. Gaultier for a few years. Father had fought with General Patton's 3rd Army in France. He had made friends of Free French fighters. He loved the French People. Mother was Catholic, and was welcomed intimately into the community. She was known for entertaining the children, who visited her often. Although I was delivered in the U.S.A, it was in St. Gaultier that I was conceived. Thus my curiosity, to see what they had seen. Il y a tant eu de films sonorisés avec des sauterelles de prés humides du soir pour figurer des espaces écrasés de soleil (sauterelles cymbalières dans un film sur Pagnol) ou encore dans "les enfants du marais", des grillons d'italie fatigués d'automne pour sonoriser des images de printemps!!!
Les vidéos ne sont pas retouchées. Le son est tel que vous pourriez l'entendre en vous promenant vous-même. Les voitures, les courants d'eau, tout ça est tel quel.
