wow, you were pinned yet you have 3 mistakes there, if you pop up calculator and do some calculating you have a mistake rate of :23% Plus punchy is perfectly fine. It counts as an enemy except with no movement, plus you didn't use auto correct so all i have to say about you: You are an idiot.
The reason it sometimes shows a different number is because the damage counter can't always keep up with the attack speed. For example, the Solus Katana combo does either 24+12+24, or 36+24. Either way, the total damage is the same, 60. Because the first two hits were done with very little time between them, the numbers were added up.
I believe the reason rapid fire was counting 11 instead of 6 was because it was adding damage values gained rapidly, aka each shot was likely doing 5.5 damage, (rounded up to say 6) and when firing rapidly it counted 2 shots per number pop-up so it stated 11. same with the numbers stated for the katana, adding 12 and 24 to make 36.
You do know that Starbound's damage display will add up quickly delt damage into a single number, right? So if you spam the dragon gun it'll add up two of the 5.x damage ticks into an 11 (it rounds the number to get rid of decimals) hence why you were seeing 36 on the katana and 11s on the dragon gun.

My personal preference is the Solus Katana, with the Erchius Eye being a close second. I put them in that order because, although the Eye can be useful in the early game, the Solus Katana does better damage, and when upgraded, can even be used in late to end game.
Psst! I don't know if anyone told you, but anyone with eyes can tell that damage ticks that occur close enough together are added together instead of shown separately.
Keep in mind that what the Dragon Head pistol lacks in damage it makes up for in low energy cost and an insane rate of fire, it is also one-handed so if you have time and can grind out 2 of them from the boss it is incredibly powerful. The secondary ability has a high knockback so use that when enemies get close that click as fast as you can and it will absolutely melt enemies. The Miniknog Launcher is also 1 handed so it is pretty effective if dual wielded with another one, or even any other 1 handed weapon.
I don't know if you know this yet or not, but when you do continuous damage, it stacks the numbers together to lessen how many things pop up on screen.
when damage is dealt fast enough it just adds up, this explains the 36 + 24 against the 24 + 12 + 24 they give the exact same result of 60 damage, you could test this for the other weapons with fast fire rates as well.
I think that sometimes if the damage you're dealing is close enough together (ex: Spamming attacks) it combines the damage of the two attacks that were close together
Also, personally I would duel wield the dragon pistols if possible instead of using the staff because the dragon pistols together would be enough to take out weaker enemies and stronger enemies would get that fire damage, the Katana is amazing though for melee~
If you attack quick enough, damage from hits is added up and displayed in one damage box, so two fast hits can show one damage text with summed value. I think that's because there is a cooldown on damage text notice, and it just 'pings' with certain frequency, showing total damage received in that interval.
The dragon pistol I think isn't getting a fair shake here as a 1 handed weapon when it's damage is being compared to 2 handed ones. There's a reason some need 2 hand and some are single. I think to make it fair you'd need to dual wield the pistols.
The 6s come when the damage tick over laps it can display the two separate 3s because the rate of fire is so fast at that moment. Say if you duel wield machine guns, fire one at a time and see the damage then fire both at the same time and they will stack together because it cant display that many numbers at once. Same thing as the 6s
No, the Erchius Eye's secondary and Miniknog Launcher's attack do not pass through enemies. It's just that the game wasn't counting Punchy as an enemy, so it was passing through him. If you want to test these weapons properly, you need to shoot them at ACTUAL enemies.
The avian wand's rage is not 30, its 30%. So if u have solarium&violium armour that makes your damage 400% its increased to 520% and it stacks with rage foods like the votka (whatever its name) giving around 570%~
i really love the miniknog launcher. ive got 2, and if you time it right you can fire 3 with one and 4 with the other launcher. that gives you a massive barrage that spreads immensly. nothing can escape it haha
Something tells me punchy isn't that accurate at depicting how a weapon will work in normal play. I tried the Miniknog launcher against normal enemies and they hit fine. The missiles don't pass through like it did for punchy. Same thing for the Erchius Eye secondary ability. The attack makes contact and does damage. Something might be weird with punchy. Might want to test on normal enemies to see how certain weapons work. The higher damage you sometimes see might be stacking 2 of the same hit. When the Erchius Eye was sometimes doing 6 damage, that might have been two of the 3 damage hits occurring on the same tick. I could be wrong. Keep in mind that the Dragonhead Pistol and Miniknog Launcher can be dual wielded. I feel that is where they really shine. I feel the best boss weapons are the Dragonhead Pistols and Solus Katana. Duel wielding Dragonhead pistols are quite powerful with full charges. I would say they rival that of tier 6 duel wielded grenade launchers. As long as both full charges connect, most enemies go down in one use. The only disadvantage is that it is a fire weapon so certain enemies will resist it. Solus Katana is a wonderful sword and you can really keep enemies away using its secondary ability. Using it to set traps and keep distance is great. Might be a good idea to test against humanoid enemies and monsters as they are the targets you will be fighting. Anyway, keep up the great work.
"Something tells me punchy isn't that accurate at depicting how a weapon will work in normal play. I tried the Miniknog launcher against normal enemies and they hit fine. Guess I'll have to make a correction video. Thanks for the heads up.
If you hold down shift and click an item in your inventory while a chest is open the item jumps right in without having to drag and drop, same in reverse for pulling things out of a chest.
so you know. the damage did NOT increase, it adds up if it comes fast enough. the katana damage was just the damage adding up, same with the dragonhead pistol and the miniknog launchers
correct, the damage counters pop up at a constant speed. If you hit the monster twice fast enough, the damage will only pop up once, but with the total damage
miniknog drop can be dual wielded and with my armor and 2 of them, they deal 500/charge dragon can be dual wielded erchius eyes secondary lights up an area and also lets you change camera positions to the secondary shot they're all good/have nice utility so there is no clear winner but DPS probably Kluex and katana (even though the volarium sword is better)
i didnt have it at the time, i just completed my fist ancient gate and got it, its great but it has some drawbacks, its only a damage sword and you run out of energy real fast. no light from it either, unless you are using your energy.
If you hit multiple times fast enough, it will add up the damage of the hits, so since the solus katana attacks so fast, it will usually add up the first two hits
I need to point this out: Just so there aren't a thousand numbers raining down on you when you use an automatic weapon, it will combine the damage numbers. While you were using the Dragon pistol, you said that it does more damage if you fire it faster, which is wrong. If you look closer, the number 11 only shows up every two bullets. I think that the numbers likely round, so the "6" that the small bullets show is really something closer to 5.5, and 5.5*2=11. This explains why the numbers were larger when you broke your fingers on the mouse :)
I think the reason you do more damage when you fire faster or hit faster is because the game isn't fast enough and counts it as one attack. For example: The Solus Katana does 24 then 11 then 24 again, 24 ± 12 is 36 as we saw on the damage numbers. But there is a slight delay between the second and third slash so it probably dosen't count it as one. As for why it only does it sometimes I don't know.
Unless they changed it, you can place the staff "turrets", switch weapon slots, regenerate energy, and cast more "turrets" before eventually releasing them.
Sometimes, the punchy is not really reliable for projectile damage because some projectiles would just go right through it, which can be a minor problem.
I think that because the miniknog launcher and the dragon head were both one handed, they should have been more valued then Firespark judged them to be.
Even if you use two of either of these the charge time and aim factor are just not worth it. I don't remember the damage for one rocket but I remember it was not much and a fully charged dragon head was 32 so that's 64 then you have to charge again. The staff did way more in one charge and all you gotta do is place cursor on target (no matter where you are or where you are looking it fires at cursor) and the Katana well its melee so you can't really judge it the same as ranged. Oh, and there is the fact you'd have to grind for two of each launcher and dragon. I took that into consideration as well. But it's a to each his own situation. If you like the launcher or dragon head better and they fit your style then there isn't a damn thing wrong with that. :)
omg hi i love your custom monster videos the most also how hard is it to make them? also on the second monster battles there was a green magic only no close up atacks what was his code? he also had good regean
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the videos you can find out everything you want to know about spawning custom monsters over on T.C's channel. Also, they are a total pain in the butt to make. :)
You fool! when you attack faster the damage stacks... With the katana it was 24+12+14 but when it was doing 24+36 you said that it was wierd... just some easy math will make you realise
All weapons in the game can be fired if you have some energy, even if it uses more than you have. The Ixodoom claw doesn't use a percentage, it uses a fixed amount of energy like everything else. Were it not for its lack of autofire on the main swing (which is also the reason I don't use the dragonhead and Miniknog launcher), it'd be pretty great. Also, jump when using the Solus katana special. Didn't you do the bossfight?
Also percentage drain would negate any use you'd get out of energy buffs. Which probably is the reason you can overconsume energy in the first place, though raw damage boosts are better anyway if you have to choose.
that is accurate i noticed that when my computer lags abit the attacks i deal while a minor lag spike the damage combine and register at once. its basically the game's way of keeping up with the attacks
This was useful, but I think you missed one important test, vs crowds. Some weapons are useful because they can deal more damage to a group that other weapons can do to individual targets.
IMO the dragonhead pistol is fun and decent, the launcher is good but the dummy is a bad thing to test on, kluex staff is op but upgrading it isnt that worth it, the katana is my favorite and upgraded is really good, the claw is good unupgraded and upgraded, and the eye is meh upgraded and good unupgraded for early-game
i think with the solex katana and its 24+12=36 and probably 5.5+5.5=11 for the dragon gun, if you damage the enemy every quickly 2 attacks get added to each other.
All the boss weapons (Upgraded) from best to worst: Solus Katana, Dragonhead pistol (dual wielded), Kluex Staff, Miniknog launcher (dual wielded), Erchius eye, Ixodoom's claw. I know Dragonhead pistol and Miniknog launcher can't be upgraded but they can be dual wielded.
I calculated 45 damage for the full extent for your energy Firespark on the Erchius Eye and 105 for the upgraded version. Slowing down to 0.25 allowed me to calculate this.
I personally prefer dragon head, simply since it can be used to basic attacks or intense damage. And the minikong launcher doesn't work cuz the charge shot can have all the projectiles not hit where you're aiming.
They are obtainable without using admin commands. You can find them in Hylotl Underwater Cities and will have to use the relocator to... relocate them.
The Dragonhead is great for burst damage since you can run in with two of them fully charged. The Miniknog Launcher is a weaker alternative that's easier to hit with at the cost of spreading damage. The staff is kinda hard to hit with and its secondary can also buff enemies, so not quite as good out in the open. You can spawn the projectiles inside a boss though, and those don't receive buffs either. The Erchius Eye chews through energy a little too quickly for my taste, then again I feel the same about regular guns too. On the melee side it's fairly obvious the Ixodoom Claw is kinda weak, dual Dragonhead or a Blink Explosion rare are better for burst damage and the slow wears off very quickly, if you can even land it. The Solus of course is the best or second-best choice for what a broadsword is supposed to do with the fastest combo and huge burst damage. I personally prefer other kinds of weapons (specifically the Rocket Spear for melee/AoE and orb/swarm staves for range/burst respectively), but this is explicitly sacrificing raw power for utility. Limited to boss weapons I would use the Solus as my primary weapon with dual Dragonheads for range/burst and maybe the Kluex Staff for (inferior) attacks beyond my line of sight. Also, you forgot the final boss drop, the Intestine Whip. Which is actually the correct choice since that piece of junk is level 4 or so, can be found in random chests long before you've even unlocked the final mission, and is a regular stupid whip with minor additions.
Apparently lots of people like the Dragonhead. I just don't see the appeal over the staff. And yes the claw is kinda weak and you probably wouldn't use it at it's level 6 state but early game if you got it and didn't have anything better yet it would not be a terrible melee choice even if you just used it to escape things. That slow was pretty hardcore.
The Dragonhead I feel has one good use and one only: charge up two of them and let go the instant anything enters your line of fire. The staff can't do that because you can't take the pre-charged projectiles with you, nor hold the charge indefinitely. For bosses with predictable dps phases the staff probably is better though as I already said. The problem with the slow is that the most annoying enemies, namely flying ones, will have no problem catching up to you unless you have some other mobility enhancements. Better to blast them with regular frost at range. In fact you can't even aim the web downwards so you can't tag ground melee mobs while jumping over them either. If you happen to get it when you first do the mission it'll still be a viable weapon and save you the need to find an ice one for quite a while. Unlike certain other weapons everything in this video is definitely a decent choice even when you need to farm the mission several times to get them, which unfortunately can't be said for certain others (see Pollen Pump)
Photoloss The staff's special is useless since you can't charge up a full 10-shot barrage before the zone dissapears. However, it's main fire requires minimal aiming and you can charge it up while dodging and aim it when you're done dodging, unlesashing about 27×10×4.6=1242 damage. That's why it's my favorite. I've managed to get through most bossfights while taking no damage thanks to this thing. Also, pretty sure that whip doesn't drop from the Ruin.
The staff zone is still an easier option compared to precasting a full projectile barrage, no idea on the actual dps (if you have to fire all the precharged projectiles one by one casting the zone instead might yield more damage in the end depending on the length of the phase). Or use it with other weapons. Or buff allies. Bottom line Dragonhead is great against anything that actually dies to that first shot, staves are great against bosses for various reasons. I definitely got that stupid whip back in 1.0, but it seems they might have changed it. The wiki page lists a confusing history with several rounds of to-and-fro, the Ruin drop was still listed last December.
If someone can slow it down and count out the damage and put it in the comments? I'm gonna level with you here, I don't like your intro, it's turned me off from most of your content, mainly because saying "the one and only" and then an 81 after fire spark because the name was taken by countless people, I dunno, it's a dumb reason to not like your channel. But you're making a comparison video and won't even put in the work yourself to slow down the footage in post and put the damage on screen when you're editing? Not to mention the other video I was able to stomach for a while was your tips and you didn't even actually think of any of them, you had your comment section do the work for you, not a very good way of making videos man.
+Dark Moons First off if you put that much thought into a freaking intro you got some serious issues. Second did it ever occur to you I did that with the numbers to create interaction between me and my community. And last, the tips video you are referring to was one in which I took all the comments from another video (where yes I came up with the tips) and made a video out of them to once again not only create interaction between me and the community but to show my audience I care about them. So if my videos are that bad and you have so little to do with your life that you feel the need to put others down and nit-pick their hard work then stay out of my channel and don't watch my content.
ive been using alot the IxoDoom[upgraded] with Damage auguments you just swing once and everything in Range just gets one shoted , while you need to be little more precise with the swords , Kluex staff is just good on theory xD the aiming is really clusmy but the damage buff kinda good specially if u play with someone else who can also benefit from it
Thanks for the info on the Doom claw. I feel like this one may be overlooked a bit. Didn't think about adding in the extra damage from an augment. Very interesting. What damage are you getting per swing?
Using a Densinium armor from FU [Almost like perfect armor but has bit less dmg and some elemental resists] + Damage augment 2 [500~ power] i deal 232/470 per hit and for some reason the big crit rises after every kill not sure is it because the mod or is it the same in vanilla but after every kill the Critical damage rises killed 20 mobs went from 470~540 , the normal strike still stays 230~/ , and is possible to pull even bigger numbers with Rage buff and better armors , the animation is nice you never fuck up a swing compared to other hammers and looks bloody bad ass if u pair it with some FU armors ^^
thender31 You have to do a Vault After that There is a crafting table for upragind weapon with the loot who drop the Vault gardien (Sorry for my english)
the combined damage numbers do kind suck sometimes, like those katana 36s i prefer to see more numbers, not just higher also i think the benefit of the miniknog launcher and dragonhead pistol is the dualwielding aspect :o those pistols get some powerful hits
The Kluex Staff is not very good. Yes it does a lot of Damage, but given the amount of Setup necessary, it will leave you high and dry. And thats to say you can land all those shots on a moving target. My Money is on the Katana or the Dragons Head Pistol.
@@kinggarford To expand on this, the man in the purple cloak will be at the outpost, on the balcony underneath and to the right of the Ursa Miner shop. He'll ask for specific items, and once you've given them to him, he'll give you a vault key. You will then have to find an ancient gateway and fly to it in your ship. It's important to note that you CAN NOT the one you used to teleport to the outpost at the beginning of the game. Once you've found one, land there and use the gateway. You'll be transported to an ancient vault, which is a unique dungeon. You'll have to avoid traps and fight your way through enemies, including a boss, the vault guardian. Once you've defeated the vault guardian and reached the end of the dungeon, you'll find two new crafting stations. The weapon upgrade anvil, and the terraforge. The first allows you to upgrade some weapons in exchange for ancient essence, a new currency that you will acquire within the ancient vault. The terraforge allows you to craft terraformers, a placeable furniture item that, in exchange for ancient essence (noticing a theme here?) and other thematically appropriate resources, allow you to transform a planet from one type into another. In case anyone needs more information, the wiki page should hopefully be of help. starbounder.org/Ancient_Vault
the dumy is a bad example because it dosnt count as an enime
Yup just found this out. And it's stupid. I assumed punchy's purpose was for this kind of stuff. Apparently I was wrong. Will make and update ASAP
i guess you could spawn enemies and trap them in something could be more accurate
You can also disable their attacks and movement and make them immune to knockback.
also, the rockets dont collide for some reason when you are trying to hit the dummie
wow, you were pinned yet you have 3 mistakes there, if you pop up calculator and do some calculating you have a mistake rate of :23%
Plus punchy is perfectly fine. It counts as an enemy except with no movement, plus you didn't use auto correct so all i have to say about you: You are an idiot.

yeah I mainly use dual wield dragonhead pistols with an energy build so i can spam them forever and it shreds bosses.
The "extra damage" for firing or swinging faster is just the damage from two hits lumping into one damage pop-up, its doing consistent damage
Btw the dragon and katana did acasional higher damage because the game combined the damage of separated hits to form the same damage but less numbers
If you hit fast enough, it combines them into one number
I don't know if you know this yet or not, but when you do continuous damage, it stacks the numbers together to lessen how many things pop up on screen.
7:57 that the point of the weapons ability your meant to jump when using it.
Does he not know if you damage something fast enough it combines the two hits?
the 36 thats showing up on the Solus Katana I reckon is just the two hits combined into one (24+12)
The damage from rapid fire is not 6, only 5.5 so if you shoot fast enough it combines the damage
when damage is dealt fast enough it just adds up, this explains the 36 + 24 against the 24 + 12 + 24 they give the exact same result of 60 damage, you could test this for the other weapons with fast fire rates as well.
Thank you! it appeared super obvious to me, but i had scroll very far to find a comment like yours
I think that sometimes if the damage you're dealing is close enough together (ex: Spamming attacks) it combines the damage of the two attacks that were close together
I can confirm this
Also, personally I would duel wield the dragon pistols if possible instead of using the staff because the dragon pistols together would be enough to take out weaker enemies and stronger enemies would get that fire damage, the Katana is amazing though for melee~
Void Truth (maxtomchris) (NoixAxis) you have a long name
For the katana the reason you got 36 is it would combine damages of 12 and 24 if you went fast enough
Also my favs are katana and dragonfire (mainly bc i would not use these end game)
The Kluex Staff also gives off light so it's good for exploration too. It is my favorite weapon for sure.
The damage numbers increase because the faster you hit the more numbers appear so the game combines these numbers
Nox’s sword is meant to jump in the air like mix herself and then fire the tri laser.
If you attack quick enough, damage from hits is added up and displayed in one damage box, so two fast hits can show one damage text with summed value.
I think that's because there is a cooldown on damage text notice, and it just 'pings' with certain frequency, showing total damage received in that interval.
That's why the solus katana did 34, 34, 17 and 51, 34

The Dragon pistols damage is 5.5 per shot so it rounds up for a single shot, but if the fire rate is too fast the game adds up 2 shots in one number.
I like the eye because it's a literal laserbeam.
i really love the miniknog launcher. ive got 2, and if you time it right you can fire 3 with one and 4 with the other launcher. that gives you a massive barrage that spreads immensly. nothing can escape it haha

FireSpark81 Don't forget the Erchius special. If you get it early game, it's devastating.

they're all good/have nice utility so there is no clear winner but DPS probably Kluex and katana (even though the volarium sword is better)
Luca Perugini the best sword in the game is actually the protectorate broadsword, wich is the only tier 7 weapon in the vanilla Starbound
i didnt have it at the time, i just completed my fist ancient gate and got it, its great but it has some drawbacks, its only a damage sword and you run out of energy real fast. no light from it either, unless you are using your energy.
I love the avian staff thing, it's so useful and they are easy to control
If you hit multiple times fast enough, it will add up the damage of the hits, so since the solus katana attacks so fast, it will usually add up the first two hits
Also, he should've used either the miniknog launcher with the dragon head pistol, or dual-wield miniknog launchers and dragonhead pistols
AAAND never mind, somebody else pointed this out :D
Oh god, everybody is screaming that. I'm sorry.
ThAtS a LoT oF dAmAgE
It isn't.
it is
What was happening with the katakana combo was it was adding the 12 to the 24.
Unless they changed it, you can place the staff "turrets", switch weapon slots, regenerate energy, and cast more "turrets" before eventually releasing them.
Sometimes, the punchy is not really reliable for projectile damage because some projectiles would just go right through it, which can be a minor problem.
I use firestorm fury upgraded and I really enjoy using it so I would think the kluex staff as an extra weapon would really compliment it.
Some or all of the projectiles that pass through punchy do impact with hostile enemies. They ignore punchy for some reason.
8:38 that voice crack tho😂😂
Kluex staff + Tesla's wrath = a lot of damage!
24, 24, 12 =24, 36. So either way, it's the same total damage.
omg hi i love your custom monster videos the most also how hard is it to make them? also on the second monster battles there was a green magic only no close up atacks what was his code? he also had good regean
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the videos you can find out everything you want to know about spawning custom monsters over on T.C's channel. Also, they are a total pain in the butt to make. :)
how do you move punchy
thank you :D
He forgot the lv 6 eye secondary.
You fool! when you attack faster the damage stacks... With the katana it was 24+12+14 but when it was doing 24+36 you said that it was wierd... just some easy math will make you realise
I completely agree. I thought this video seemed very rushed.
CancwerTM holy shit thank god someone else commented this
All weapons in the game can be fired if you have some energy, even if it uses more than you have.
+anagram gamaran So it uses a fixed amount but then let's you use it if you don't have that ammount. That seems strange to me.
FireSpark81 I think it's that way to allow some powerful specials to use a full bar of energy without having to implement a percentage based drainage.
Also percentage drain would negate any use you'd get out of energy buffs. Which probably is the reason you can overconsume energy in the first place, though raw damage boosts are better anyway if you have to choose.
I think if you attack fast enough the damage #s combind
that is accurate i noticed that when my computer lags abit the attacks i deal while a minor lag spike the damage combine and register at once. its basically the game's way of keeping up with the attacks
Btw the dragon actually deals 5.5
If you meet me at my house I'VE GOT BOSS WEAPONS!!!
This was useful, but I think you missed one important test, vs crowds. Some weapons are useful because they can deal more damage to a group that other weapons can do to individual targets.
out of all those the staff secondary with my dual lv 6 portal wands is my best combo.....best boss weapon in my opinion is actually the dragonhead gun
For people who don't know the weapon isn't 100% drop chance it's actually quite low so thats why you don't have it
The Dragonhead Pistol and Miniknog Launcher can be dual-wield as well!
How do you get the Erichus Eye? I defeated the boss but got nothing when I defeated it.
+Goldstar279 it's a chance drop. Keep killing it.
i think with the solex katana and its 24+12=36 and probably 5.5+5.5=11 for the dragon gun, if you damage the enemy every quickly 2 attacks get added to each other.
same with the upgraded version of the solex katana 34+17=51
All the boss weapons (Upgraded) from best to worst:
Solus Katana, Dragonhead pistol (dual wielded), Kluex Staff, Miniknog launcher (dual wielded), Erchius eye, Ixodoom's claw.
+Benjamin Tiemann Thanks!
np :) and I case you didn't see on the best swords video I calculated for the Firestorms Fury 20 Damage.
I personally prefer dragon head, simply since it can be used to basic attacks or intense damage.
And the minikong launcher doesn't work cuz the charge shot can have all the projectiles not hit where you're aiming.
how do you get the punching bag?
ChargedDwarf (needs /admin first.) /spawnmonster punchy
They are obtainable without using admin commands. You can find them in Hylotl Underwater Cities and will have to use the relocator to... relocate them.
The Beast thanks!
+Photoloss All very valid points! Thanks for the insight.
FireSpark81 does ruin drop a weapon or no?
ive been using alot the IxoDoom[upgraded] with Damage auguments you just swing once and everything in Range just gets one shoted , while you need to be little more precise with the swords , Kluex staff is just good on theory xD the aiming is really clusmy but the damage buff kinda good specially if u play with someone else who can also benefit from it
Thanks for the info on the Doom claw.
I've never heard of upgradeable boss weapons, how are those crafting unlocked?
thender31 You have to do a Vault After that There is a crafting table for upragind weapon with the loot who drop the Vault gardien (Sorry for my english)
I think the damage on the katana change if u are close enough. So if u get close enough u can get deez 56 damage slashes
no. the 36 dmg were just the 24 and 12 combined.
The Rocket launcher and the Dragon pistol are one handed and the dmg should be doubled..
the combined damage numbers do kind suck sometimes, like those katana 36s i prefer to see more numbers, not just higher also i think the benefit of the miniknog launcher and dragonhead pistol is the dualwielding aspect :o those pistols get some powerful hits
you were pulling off the katana combo too fast; so the 12 from the third hit was added to the first hit of the next one.
hey using the /debug command might help with info
For me when and where you can upgrade these weapons that wasnt clear for me?
th-cam.com/video/MfN5Pa5Se7A/w-d-xo.html
FireSpark81 thank you I am new to starbound so your vids are helpful
I prefer the Minokong launcher, the only one I have...
The mininog launcher does collide it for some reason doesn't on the punching bag
Wait how did you get the eye weapon?
It drops from the Erchius Horror boss in the Erchius Mining Facility mission.
Zanadew Carter it didn't give it to me
It's a 10% chance (for all boss weapons)
Really, just going to the wiki (starbounder.org) gives a better indication of DPS. They have all the actual damage values and energy cost there.
THE NEW HARDEST BOSS EVER IS PUNCHY
It might be doing more because two hit it at once since your clicking so fast
you didnt test the eye's tier 6 secondary
What's the link to the admin mod?
It's not a mod
where did you get Ixiodoom from?
Paradox Gaming its a rare drop from the spider boss
Why do you call it "Ixiodoom"? It's Ixodoom, with only one I.
how do u get these? I have beaten all the bosses and have none of these
They have a 1/10 droprate.
Linus Lundquist ahh thanks
Madaxmax There is a mod on steam that makes it 100% its very helpful
BlueSpruce thanks I'll have a look
Your Katana is not where it's at. My tier 6 Hokucide is where it's REALLY at.
The Kluex Staff is not very good. Yes it does a lot of Damage, but given the amount of Setup necessary, it will leave you high and dry. And thats to say you can land all those shots on a moving target. My Money is on the Katana or the Dragons Head Pistol.
The "Bird Boss" is the Kluex Avatar
Daily dose of video goodness
Me: I like it.
first i had only the katana thingy now u have everything exept the katana (i sold it)
do your own addition dude lol
like just go back and slow it down and do that addition yourself... you already worked this hard on this vid
Yea no I don't care and its already been done a bunch of times. Read the other comments.
FireSpark81 this is why you only have 20,000 subs.
great.... the staff does a lot of damage... really great, except it's impossible to hit a moving target with all shots... which is like every enemy
Menos West actually it is very easy to hit moving targets with it.
oh wait that sword *that katana* is what am i talking about.. Also its a 10 - hit combo + redd.it now
If you can only defeat the boss once. How do you get it if you didn't get first try?
you can do the boss missions multiple times
you can play missions multiple times.
he also probably used commands to get the weapons
Wait wait , you can upgrade them ? HOW? 0_0
Weapon Upgrade Anvil at the end of an Ancient Vault.
Yep, requires Ancient Essence though, also acquired in Ancient Vaults.

I went bacwards 5 seconds and that made him say fapping
