With out any elevation changes it's just basically giant SX tracks. The track pieces all basically the same as in SX.

The only thing that is different is the jumps don’t have lips......
As I mentioned in my Austria trip discussion video, they tried to make track editor work. It’s not as simple as having hills and building into them. Any weird thing you can think of could glitch the game and cause a crash or freeze. I’m talking with them, it’s definitely a target for them to add elevation in their next release
I'm no programmer but it seems simplest way would be for the maps you make the tracks on to have pre made elevation changes on em and you lay the track over it as you do your lay out. But I'm sure that sounds easier than it is. Lol

milestone was looking into that while making the game but because of the short dev cycle they are on they couldn't put more time into it.
ZacIsGoodAtGames yea that makes sense. Hopefully as they continue to build on the game they can add it in future versions
@@ryan708_vids they might get more time since THQNordic is milestones new publisher and if you've been watching what they've done this year with certain remasters for games and picking up old ip's that haven't had a release in a long time and lets not forget Wreckfest got released to consoles and THQNordic is the publisher for that and they gave BugBear the dev team for Wreckfest more time to work on the game to get it ready for consoles.
I like to track two especially the S turn if you if you're good in that section that's just the place that you can makeup a lot of time
In my opinion on the track editor I think it's a good base to work from for a future games
I might have to pick this up so I can make nationals tracks finally 😂 So used to the supercross style it’s nice to see something different. Plus I’ve never had a GP game

Hi, great video! I recently got into MX and love this channel! I picked up MXGP 2 and am loving it but will move to 19 soon. With the Track Editor, can you add Grandstands, signs etc. like the actual circuits. Also, can it be used with an offline championship and have a country designated to it? Thanks
I like how you say to punish you. I felt like that on the challenges on the 4th one on each. Dam kept doing them like 100 times.
Track looks sick
Its aggravating that they cant get gravity and ruts right. It makes me not want to play this game seeing how much you slide around.

Jason Trotta I find the Ruts fine, they’re not perfect but there is a physics system implemented on the ruts, just have to have the rot angle and corner speed, just like on a real track
They should have released 4 environments that you could lay the track out how ever you want so it could be different every time. One could be a bowl, one sloping in one direction, once with a center mound/hill, one with random mounds/hills. Then you can place the track any way you like. Hire me, I've made tracks and textures in photoshop for MCM.

You should of kept the triple out of the "snail trail" because you could go outside and hit it and probably land just right
Badadd there is a track editor but to bad the maps are all flat. They should have made it where it just generated random blank maps with hills or flats or whatever still cool but to bad it's all flat

I just wonder why they can't implement something similar to what Ubisoft does with the map editor on Farcry, where you can just manipulate the ground and make hills and mountains or valleys with elevation changes.

One the coolest parts is way point editor and making enduro or hare scramble type of tracks. And worse part of game is the rear wheel slides like it's on marbles on advanced physics. :/ needs to be patched.

The ruts on the official track do. Not all of them but you can feel them and you can hook up in them.
This might be a dumb question, but can Xbox One also load PC version tracks? Because this one looks so good. Track brings so many Lucas Oil Pro Motocross vibes to me. :3

Custom tracks for X box 1 search H2M many tracks for MESX2 game Xbox1 amd now working on adding tracks to MXGP2019 again search H2M!!! The SX tracks def not WTFO they tale skill an timing and learning the lines.... Trying to do same for MXGP2019 but editor is kinda basic and less optoions as of now..... But H2M will come up with new creatove lines!!!! ;)

Well I hate to be rude about it but I’ve seen better map building on mobile games. Off-road outlaws in particular you can build your own custom map with hills and water features and so on
I have a feeling this will be another half done game and they will move on to the next one. I can't believe how good and bad SX2 is. Why bother adding the stupid characters face in the bottom left of the screen when you only see yourself? They never fixed the constant loading problems and crashing issues. I don't know anyone that wanted to signing autographs/meeting fans or any of the dumb stuff that comes along with it. The spines on the tracks are tragic, you can be on the track and be reset and it was never fixed. Such a piece of shit but at the same time is great. I love the way the bike handles, the soil textures are nice, track lines are great, riders look good but not sure why we didn't get the factory gear??
