K-pop is a an umbrella term for Korean produced pop music. Within K-pop, there are many groups and artists who explore certain music genres and incorporate into their songs such as Afrobeats, Latin, EDM, classical and etc. There are dozens of K-pop groups and artists following very similar standards as Le Sserafim. Most popular ones being Black Pink and BTS, the ones well known to have broken out into the American music market. Don't be surprised if a lot of English is present throughout the songs. Back then in the early years, English was just used to sound cool even if the sentences don't make sense. Nowadays, the new generation of K-pop is mainly targeting the western market. K-pop artists, especially their groups, are known to be producers of high standard performance based music with a lot of dancing and high quality music videos. These artists are often contracted under record labels who invest in their training (sometimes military style) and promotions to produce the best singers in the industry. You just dipped your foot into the K-pop rabbit hole. I would encourage but also warn you about how you approach this genre. Because they are a HYBE group - biggest music company grown from a label in SK - they get a lot of haters and a lot of "dirty PR" thrown at. I think they deal rather well with it and it fits there theme: Female strength with adversarity and imperfection: being human and scarred but fighting to make it "look easy". They are not on any albums as far as I know: "I ≠ DOLL" by Huh Yunjin I admit that my favorite "Idol group" is BTS and I think you may have heard one of their few English Pop songs like Dynamite or Butter. Personally I prefer their other music and admire their solo music, too. The group comes from Hiphop has 3 rappers and 4 vocalists and is on par with the biggest artists in the world and surprisingly authentic. Their music is known for their lyrics and is usally very intelligent. Their concept albums had a theme of growing up under different aspects and eras - but now they are beginning to cross into their 30s and will have to find a new theme which their solo era helps with. (that and they are all doing their mandatory military service - with the exception of Suga/Agust D - who because of a shoulder injury is doing civil service) Paul McCartney was once asked in an interview if he believed authentic musicians still existed and he named BTS. I would be very curious to see what you both would think of Babymetal. Should you ever decide to give them a watch, I would recommend the songs Karate or Gimme Chocolate, and try to go for a live version because they are very theatrical. The lyrics are all in Japanese but they are very talented and heavy. As always, great video.
Idk how i feel about this song, first thought they are very very beautiful. im used to Aespa, G-idle this sound is a little different so im not sure if i like it or not. ill have to check out more
Kinda liked it. Not usually into K-Pop. I do listen to a bit of J-Rock and Japanese metal. Not the GWAR/Slipknot type. Burch is right about the bad boy/girl. It also sounds like Alexis needs to hear some TLC if she does not know who Left Eye is.
suggestion for growing the channel and exploring new music: BTS, also a kpop group. Their fandom is always open to open-minded people trying new stuff. DON'T DO DYNAMITE, BUTTER OR PREMISSION TO DANCE. While they are good songs, they nowhere near describe what BTS is about. My suggestions are Black swan, Spring day, Blood sweat and tears.
I wonder if the group u saw on the tonight show was bts?? They are the biggest group in kpop and the biggest group in the world period. It would be cool if you reacted to them, maybe their song fake love or DNA
So Alexis doesn’t know TLC…I’d show her Scrubs or Waterfalls. K-pop - ehh. Not bad. Probably not something I would seek out to listen to but if it was playing somewhere I wouldn’t hate it. 🤷🏻♂️
K-pop has many influences, including R&B and hip hop, even knowing groups like TLC, Wu Tang Clan, DJ Shadow or the Fugees, I think EASY is a very good song, at least in terms of production and beats, it even reminds me of Björk's "It's in Our Hands".

just realized i put the video name first instead of the artist😭
It's all good, we'll figure it out :) Thank you Niyah, added to the list
There is an English version but the enunciation can more clear.
Thank you Justice!
The female host reminds me of AleXa
And the fact that her name is Alex too!? 🤯
I can kind of see it.
you should react to Ateez they are amazing!
Thanks for reacting to Lesserafim. I hope you react more to their music. I recommend you react to BTS also.
Oh we will and now I think we are going to wind up going on a deep dive for many in the genre including BTS
Jung Kook has perfect pitch, thats so cool🤗💜🫡
Please react to So-Hyang's Bridge Over Troubled Water
Please react to Stray Kids' S-Class

React to "TAEMIN-Criminal" it's very good you'll like it.
Hello... A Korean super singer, IU, will be performing in the US on a world tour and her main song "LOVE WINS ALL" featuring BTS's V had more than 50 million views in a month, it is the talk of all react channels and is a complete masterpiece directed by a renowned Korean filmmaker. It's worth watching, I guarantee it!!!!😉😉😉
I would be very curious to see what you both would think of Babymetal.
Seems like this was successful
A KPOP boy group that I recomend is Seventeen and their song HOT. Is so good!!
Which song do you recommend?
The theme of the group is fallen angels. Check out EXO obsession for a kind of super hero theme. Fantastic music video.
Easy is most American sounding K-pop song 😂 it was produced by US hiphop musicians Sean Turk and Cashae
please do more kpop!!! i think you guy should react to enhypen, theyre my favorite group!
❤
낯설어하는 반응이 재밌네요 😊
Killa f-ing song!! I love me some k-pop (^__^)! Now do some Blackpink and New Jeans.
Wow that girl looks just like ryujin
Please react to fearless lesserafim
lol, I don't think any countries that has no substitute for the word - easy. unless their life is just hard, hard, damn hard, fuxking hard,
I think you might like Agust-D, it's quite different than this. Check out Daechwita, Haegeum, or Amygdala
suggestion for growing the channel and exploring new music: BTS, also a kpop group.
It would be cool if you reacted to them, maybe their song fake love or DNA
please react to JUNGKOOK-STANDING NEXT TO YOU
I don't get into pop. Now for J-Rock or J-Metal, I've gone there and pretty much left the USA for rock and metal after the mid 2000's.
Now we are going to have to go down that road MM
Subscribed for more K-pop content ❤
please react to Lay Zhang ,Lauv new realease mv (run back to you
More kpop
I was getting christina aguilera vibes.. ✌️
Yup
So Alexis doesn’t know TLC…I’d show her Scrubs or Waterfalls. K-pop - ehh. Not bad. Probably not something I would seek out to listen to but if it was playing somewhere I wouldn’t hate it. 🤷🏻♂️
K-pop has many influences, including R&B and hip hop, even knowing groups like TLC, Wu Tang Clan, DJ Shadow or the Fugees, I think EASY is a very good song, at least in terms of production and beats, it even reminds me of Björk's "It's in Our Hands".
Waterfalls for sure is on the way now :)
Can you please react to Hori7on's new song "LUCKY" 🤗
mic drop BTS / Killing me IKON
Please can you react red velvet dumb dumb and feel my rythym?
Did he just call eunchae the bad one 😭😭
It's a language thing, not bad literally, just the one with swagger. The one that has the most presence. In this case, bad is a good thing 😁
React to aespa
