Maria you are a wonderful person! I wish I was in Florida. (Only I really don't because of the humidity)! I am in Arizona and love the desert! Thank you so much for saving these Desert Roses and all of your plants!🍃 🌿👏💟👍🌱
I love that you are showing us how to cut the "sucker" roots off. Those roots are doing nothing but depriving energy and nutrients from the plant. Same principal as "sucker" branches. Maria has done an army's worth of work, at breakneck speed, on those plants to revive them back from the "Grim Reaper". Great job and video ! Ken & Maria ❤😀
Hi Maria! I love you chanel and also love plants. I like to know how to plant a cutting of rose of desert can you please help me?I just found your videos so you have a new subscriber👍💖
Ashley Marquez Hi my friend Ashley the best to get you self a really desert rose from seed but if you like to start one from cutting this is what you do let you cutting dry for a week them planted in dry soil wait until the cutting has root to water you need to check you cutting after three weeks and see if you have roots time to starting watering thank you Maria’s garden
thank you. you have a warmer climate than we have....here when if get to 40 farenheit than it's winter! it feels cold and i have the desert roses under cover(inside)....but the summer is hot at about 80 or so. i like your honesty about plants. if you ever think of going to nz you are welcome to stay.
Maria. You have taught me so much about Desert Roses and also Hoyas and Succulents. Love your videos!! Can you tell me where you buy those really sharp knives that you use for pruning the roots?
Annette Stroups hi my friend Annet the best place to buy them is ACE hardware they about $ 9 00 Dollar but they won’t very good thanks you Maria’s garden 🐞🐞🐞
Maria my dear, my desert rose has some little balls and a friend of mine told that it's tumors or warts, I search here in youtube and I couldn't found nothing about this, please let me know how to treat these warts and it will be great you make a video about this, I didn't found no one that talk about this desert rose disease. Thanks..

Hi Maria, I found out my 3-year-old desert rose got root rot ;(. I carved off the damaged area, applied cinnamon and put it out in the sun for 8 hours already. With the Houston heat in mid August, I think the cut area will dry off in another day or so. After planting it back into a pot, when should I water it? How long should I leave it in a shade before exposing it to full sun again? Thanks.
PVMT09 Hi my friend what you need to do get a large container and dry the soil before planting you desert rose place in the garage and let dry a little the planted you desert rose by lifting about 1 to 2 inch no more than that them place it outdoors under roof not direct sun ☀️ not rain for six to seven weeks after a week you need to starting watering by spraying with the hose or a watering can you need to keep one inch of the top of the soil moisture not more than that about every five to six day all depends how fast will dry according to,you weather very important this plant goes into recovery for this period of time thank you Maria’s garden
@@MariasgardenGarden Hi Maria, thanks for your quick response. I just checked the cut area this morning. It dried off. I'll follow your instructions and hope for the best.
Those 2 plants look totally different, lots of surgery for the best! How do you keep up with the color of the plants when you have so many drying out ? I think your plant from your house looks like a giraffe, so unique! My favorite channel for sure !
I love all your videos. I have a few “babies” like the smaller one You previewed which I am experimenting with for bonsai (cut caudex and trimmed tops). I’ve dried them for 10 days and just put them in a pot on a circular piece of plastic with potting medium to promote radial root growth. They look like little Aliens now but am hoping to see some new growth. Any suggestions???? Thanks
