At lunch time today .. I said to hubby .. "We really need some kind of stepped plant ladder for that corner" 🤣🤣 True story ... and he you are showing me how to make one ! Timing could not have been better ! Xx It looks great !
This is a great project for when you have those few extra pieces and off cuts and some scrapes left from the other projects. Save everything, waste nothing and reuse what ever you can. Paint it, stain it, clear coat it or what ever your needs are. I enjoy watching and always pick up some good tips. Thanks for sharing you work.
It looks great. I love the design with hooked over shelves that hide the ends of the short pieces. I always appreciate using up left-over wood. Thanks for sharing your work.
This looks really nice. I can 't let my wife see this or she'll be making me make them for her this afternoon. But I have another month here in Colorado before it will be warm enough to think about my outdoor garden. Thanks!
i'm definitely making one of these, been thinking about making one for a while and nice to see someone else make one 1st so i can plan it out in my head
That was ONE BIG Ladder there 😃 ..... Nice job though, reminds me of a Hop-Up I made for plastering the bedrooms of a house where the walls went right up to the ridge .... Took about half-an-hour to build ...... Went to put into the next bedroom .... I'd made it TOO BIG!! .... AARRGGHH!!!!!! 😂
Unfortunately I can never find a link to it. I'll have to ask my Dad where he buys it, but it's called Aquashield wood treatment. I think it's chestnut.
Hi all - here's my free plant ladder stand plans thecarpentersdaughter.co.uk/woodworking/diy-ladder-shelf-for-plants/

Would love to see what you come up with!
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK 🤣🤣🤣 yeh I need to for sure ... its a small nook ... so won't be as grand 😍😍 but still
Suicidal Laurel tried to end it all 😆 Cool project I've not seen a build like this before very unique 👍🏻
Pesky laurel lol... quite relieved it happened before I "finished" incase it happened to anyone else!

I agree and costs nothing ♥️ Also, really easy to alter of someone wants more or less shelves :)
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK Inexpensive is always a plus.
It looks nice, Vicky. This was quite a creative way to use up a lot of off cuts/scrap wood.
Thanks for sharing this with us.
Thanks :) That'll be the tight Northerner in me 😂

Thanks so much and glad you enjoyed :)
Looks the biz that does, I have a old solid wood decorators ladder that I have earmarked for such a project
Keep up the good work Vikkie
Thanks so much :) Hope it's inspired you to make it sooner ☺

Haha.... well at least it can lighten your offcut pile 😂
Did a similar but much smaller plant stand pot. Wish we could share photos on here. Oh well. Thanks for sharing. Love how simple you made it look.
Thanks! You could post it on my facebook page or tag me on Twitter @carpenterslass :)
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK Cool. Sent it on FB. Hope it got through ok.

Any time :)
Look good, an 'X' cross-brace on the back may reduce the flex from side-to-side
Yes - I forgot to say that if anyone is putting it on uneven ground!
Adorable and creative 🤩
Thank you :)
This is such a great idea. 😊
Thanks :)
I like that.
Cheers :)

Oh no 😂 Hopefully it was just as easy to alter?
@@TheCarpentersDaughterUK Yes, a good heavy hammer, a saw, and a few more nails later 👍🤠
awesome 💥
Cheers 👍
What was that, salami? 🤣 Great project!
Almost.... pepperoni from one of those packs for snacks or pizza 😂😂
What is the brand of wood preservative you used? It gave a nice wood color to you project.
